Postby RavenKat » December 5th, 2004, 5:54 am

Wow - I haven't been the first to sign in for a while!

I'm back to 191. (my lowest point to date) Yay me. :-)

Now, I'm off to sand joint compound and put a coat of primer on the office. BTW - wallpaper is evil! :x

Good job Kat!!! Mr. Scale can't decide whether it's 2.5 or 3 for me today, so I'm claiming the later. Heck with him! :x

It's going to be an awesome day tomorrow! I'm driving down to Baltimore to meet the lucious LW and Kat and whoever else decides to show up. It's going to be great! I promise, pictures to come when I get home!

Morning all! :)

I am down 3 pounds from last Sunday - cool, dude! 8) So 194 from 197.

In less than two weeks, I will probably be under 190, which I have not been since April '03 - even cooler!

That seems to be the pattern on the Full Fast, 3 pounds a week. I am hoping it stays constant till I hit goal, but I expect I am going to have to add in a bit of exercise to keep it flowing smoothly along... which I am looking forward to. I miss my gym time, but I realize on 500-600 calories a day, going for a 300+ calorie workout is not the way to a happy body. Ah well, I suppose all of it will be waiting when I need to use it. ;)

Back to bed for a couple hours... :snooze:

Kat, good luck with the  wallpaper! As for my future day today, I am going to go pick out a Christmas tree - whee!

Good luck everyone! I will dream of you all getting tinier!

Happy Sunday Gang,

Well, now in week 3 of transition, having reached goal of 125 lbs, true to the predictions of Success in a Shaker Jar, I'm still losing during transition now down to 119. That's ok as they state you will get back to goal weight once your calorie intake is up to normal. I've never felt better!!! Actually feel like a teenager. Uh oh, hope I'm not doing the mid life crisis thing... Oh heck, I'll never grow up I guess.

GREAT success everybody this week!!!

ARRRRRGGGGH!! Yikes! I usually weigh in at the doc's office on Mondays, but I just had to have a sneak peak this morning. Up 1.5 pounds! I was semi okay with that. Telling myself it could be water, it could be difference in the scales, or something. ( I have been true to Medifast, even still weighing and measuring my lean and green) But, I just stepped on the scales again and it is up yet another THREE POUNDS. What is this? How can you have 700-800 calories a day and GAIN weight. Most disheartening. I've know about "plateaus"....but jeesh, its only been 4 weeks and I still have mega weight to lose. What can I do between now and tomorrow---- I don't think I can handle an "official" gain of weight this early in the program.

Karen, my sweets! That Mr. Scale is our enemy! :x I have seen a swing of 5-10 pounds after being up for just a few hours, seriously! I find that I do much better when I weigh at the very same time of the day, every day that I weigh, and always early, early in the morning. I make a point of getting up every Sunday for weigh-in at 6am because if I wait until later, I weigh more! Do not let that evil scale bring you down - he lies LIES LIES!!!

Karen,
I TOTALLY agree with Spidey!!
I weigh myself every morning at 7:00 a.m. and also make sure I am wearing the same type of clothing IE: My silk robe, that way I get a true
reading.
I know for me my afternoon weight is always 3-4 pounds higher than the morning reading.
Hang in there and don't despair!

So, I am back here after a weekend away--a perfect perfect MF weekend, by the way, I even ended up doing full program yesterday as opposed to my ususal 5-1 since there was nowhere/ nothing suitable to eat on the long roadtrip. Scale says I'm down 2lbs, so I'm at 201. After not seeing a drop after so many days, I was hoping for something a little more dramatic, but hey, 2lbs is better than none so I'll take it ;) I'm definitely hoping to see another loss though soon, that will take me back below the 200 -mark!! (soon to be followed by admission to the exclusive 40lb club).
Sounds like everybody here had a great week too, so CONGRATULATIONS and let's keep it going DOWN DOWN DOWN!!
Happy shaking!

Kat, Spidey, BG, Krissie, Brian, Terry, Mary and Coco: WAY TO GO GANG - YOU ROCK!!!! :kool:

Karen, Try not to freak out too badly - these things do happen - I was once up EIGHT pounds from morning to night. It may simply be water weight that will fall off soon. Have a little faith in the program and in yourself.

Camille, my hero! You're such an inspiration to me. I'm so very proud of you!

I am down a little bit this week to 200.8 as of Sundays weigh in. This morning was 200.2. I'm right on the verge of breaking the 200 pound mark for the first time in probably 7-8-9 years. The last time I can honestly remember being below 200 was probably 1995, but having been terrified of the scale, I'm not really sure.

As for the ongoing allergy problem, I went to a specialist Thursday and was perscribed steroids - which I hate to take, but must admit that I am improving beyond how I have felt in 7-8 weeks, which is such a relief I can't even tell you. The steroids make me feel kinda hinky sometimes, but I only have 5 days left on them. AT LAST RELIEF! Things are looking up.

Hope we all have a great week coming up!
Carrie
