Good Morning Everyone,

Looks like we've had a good week. Congratulations to you all.

I am down 1.2 pounds for the week and getting oh so close to my halfway mark and ONEDERLAND.

I will not be posting in roll call Sunday until September. I have asked my husband to hide the scale. I weigh myself every single morning and got a little discouraged this week because I didn't see my normal loss. I am also trying to have more discipline in my life and I think not relying on the scale so much will help me achieve that. Hopefully I'll be in the 60 pound club by the next time I post!

Have a great week!

Congrats to everyone. All of you have had a great week. Now for me.!@#@. I am up 1.4 lbs. I almost didn't post becasue I hate to break the chain. The Iowa State Fair is going on and I have been there 2 days so far and yes I cheated but not much and I just didn't get my water in either so will go strong this week to get that off plus more. I will not let this get me down. Judy from Iowa

Donna, you are almost at goal! Congratulations!

Martha, isn't it a great feeling? Listen, girl, you're gonna surpass me in the next two weeks, because I'm off on my vacation on Tuesday and, just like when I went to Hawaii, I refuse to diet while on vacation. I will take MF with me for those meals that don't really mean anything -- where it's just catching something to eat 'cause I'm hungry -- but I intend to enjoy myself with some of my favorite things too. So today is my last weigh-in for at least two weeks, and that next weigh-in is definitely going to show an increase.

That said, I started adding back some foods a little bit Friday, so I haven't lost as much as I'd like. I'm still down another pound, though, to 185, and that pleases me. It's going to suprise the heck out of my sister, and extended family and friends, when they see me next week!

Congrats to all you losers. I'll check the boards a couple of times from my sister's house, but won't be around a lot (not that I've been around a lot lately anyway, with all the associated stress in my life). Thank you all for the prayers for my almost-brother, by the way. He definitely seems to be doing somewhat better, though we still do appreciate those prayers.

Have a great fortnight!

Hey, Every bity body ~

You are doing great! I am so proud of you! Judy from Iowa, we're not in a race here, sometimes random acts of foodage happen. You know what to do to make it a mere memory...

One thing I have noticed is that when I have a special function or outing, it is difficult to stay on track with my water input. When I fail to drink enough water it always shows up on the scale and also it seems as if I get hungrier - that same day or the next day. I was at an all day function yesterday and I hardly slurped any water - not good. I was sitting in the front row and did not want to get up and visually interrupt the speaker or the audience with my prancings back and forth to the BR. I had very little water, sat all day and I look like the Michelin Man today...

Ladyhawke - take it easy the first few days you work out and ride that bike - drink plenty of water and keep some bouillon handy!

dlr2424...wow! This is your week! You had an awesome loss and you were on vacation, too! Yippy!

Martha, congrats!

Beautiful B...so, you are on scale restriction for the rest of this month, huh? It's neat your husband is helping you...

Shake it up and shake it off!

Back and strong as ever!

Postby eddieHoustonTX » August 14th, 2005, 9:44 am

Hi Gang!

I am here, and I have been faithful to MF. I just got a bit discouraged over the last 2 months. But I have not cheated thanks to my own desire to be healthy and Bonnie and Steve Wills. I have been fluxuating my scales between 240-245. But my body has been re-structuring itself, as I can now barely squeeze into a M shirt (very snug). But am comfortable in L. It is a great feeling to go into Banana Republic and be able to actually fit into the stuff there! Just thought I'd get you all up to speed on me. By the way, I mostly have been on the complete program. I am having bloodwork done each month with my own doctor, and my last work up was amazing! My total cholesterol was 116(from 210) and my triglycerides were at an 86(from 420) incredible. So I have found a triumph, even if the scale isn't moving as fast as I would like it now.

Medifast stolen

Postby eddieHoustonTX » August 14th, 2005, 9:51 am

Just to let everyone know. My last boxes from MF were left by FEDEX on my front dooestep. When I arrived home, all that I found were my Reday-to Drink Dutch Cocolates. The primary box had been stolen. (this is terrible sinse I live in a nice area outside of Houston.) Well, I was panicked! I still have a good supply of Chai Latte since I stocked up last month. But I wanted my bars! I called Bonnie and she nor Steve were sure what do do, so I emailed MFdiet.com and got a call the next morning. I explained the issue to a very noce supervisor, who rushed a shipment out to me. I recieved an extra surprise of another case of RTD at no charge. Thanks to the MF team, I was saved! I called to find out if I had to return to RTD, they said not to worry about it and to accept it as a gift. THANKS! Just weanted to fill anyone in an what happens inthat case. I hope no one has to experience the same thing, worse, if you were out of product! Bye for now.

Eddie ~

As you are slimming down on the outside, the inside of you has been busy getting itself healthier, too. Incredible results!

You've worked hard - take a bow!

Hey, Dee ~ Great start! You are on your way now!

Nanc...the pre-scope fast could set you back a day or two - slurp that water and let's see what you can do this week!

I'll have to PM you and get the skinny on the scope...been avoiding making an appointment for it myself...I am a chicken...argh...

Wow!

Postby Lynzi » August 14th, 2005, 11:35 am

Eddie, that is awesome news.
I think the insides are the most important.
Remarkable Martha, still undefeated, your my hero!
Congrats to All!!!
This is only my 2nd week, I know I have a lot to learn,
but I realized I was never physically hungry this week...ever.
It was always a "feeling" that made me think of eating.
Anyhow I am 5 pds lighter.
Thanks!!
