Are you feeling a huge difference getting ready for this vacation and when you went to Hawaii? It's so neat this time watching you prepare because you don't seem stressed out about it at all. You know how to transition for a planned break......you know you will most likely gain a little......and then you know what you will do when you get back Isn't it so different now?
I'm headed off to Western New York in a week or so to visit my sister and some other family. We will spend a couple of days with a cousin of ours at one of the Finger Lakes. We are tossing around the idea of going to NYC for a couple of days, too, but I'm not sure that's going to happen now, because there is other stuff we are planning and other people to see.
I've lost 40 pounds since I came back from Hawaii! That's in about 3 1/2 months. I'm definitely much happier with the way I look in a swimsuit, and with how I feel overall. And yes, I think I am less stressed this time. I've discovered that I can go off MF and that I can go right back on it. In fact, for me, I think that 3 - 3 1/2 months is about as long as I can remain really compliant with the program, and then I need a short break. This time I know that it's just a break, and that I'll be able to pick it right back up. It's also nice to know that if I do gain a few pounds with vacation indulgences, if I jump back onto MF right away when I get home those pounds come off fast.
I was at 186 yesterday afternoon, which is half a pound down from last week, and at 188.5 this morning after last night's excesses. I'm MFing today, and will start a bit of a transition tomorrow so that when I leave at the beginning of next week I'll be in good shape.
I need this vacation, which I am taking all by myself -- no hubby or kids. I am very stressed out, as some of you know, and hope that this will help.
Thanks for asking, Christi, I really appreciate it.
