Nancy, you may have missed your calling! You are a NATURAL BORN PREACHER, for sure ;)

I have a question for you.....is bottled seltzer (no sweetner, no carbs, no sodium, just water and bubbles) OK?

Thanks,

Lois

I shall consider myself thoroughly whipped regarding both the water and the fat-free half&half suggestion! I knew LW occasionally borrowed Guido's whip (when necessary) but didn't know that she had one of her own and on occasion, uses both! :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:

A thousand apologies for suggesting the half&half solution!

I did not realize the FF half&half contained corn syrup. I subscribe to the "don't ask/don't tell" policy when it comes to ingredients. As a result of this near-death beating, I have looked at the ingredient label and see that it does, in fact, contain corn syrup. I just assumed it was skim milk with a tiny bit of cream and some artificial thickening agent.

Gerald ~

Honey, have the whip welts faded yet? :exercise:

It's just that SOME people really can't handle the sugar-syrup introduction, especially so early in their weight loss phase...

Lois,

Yep, that bubbly water is fine. Safeway has a great flavored seltzer - it comes in many flavors. :water:

Nancy,

Can Gerald come out and play now? Gerald, sorry you got lickins. I miss you.

I'm gonna be real good cause the only lickins I want are from the inside wrapper of the MF bars!

Alright, I'm convinced and since I've spent most of this week licking my wounds, I haven't had time to misbehave and am already past my last-weeks loss, so this week is looking good!

Thanks Sheryl, Camille and Lois for your encouragement, and thanks Nancy for BOTH your encouragement and kicking me in the boutae when I needed it! That'll teach me to READ that nutritional information on the labels!

:hi5:

PS-Drinking tons of water really DOES work, doesn't it? ;)

What is this?

Huh? You are LICKing your wounds???

Hah! Gerald, you are such a fun guy! I'm glad that you are no longer pouting. That's what this Forum is all about - learning! I learn just as much from all of you as you learn from moi.

You know, when I first started Medifasting I was on shakes only and so when I had my first baglet of Multi-grain crackers, I literally licked the little white bag of crumbs. I always lick the choc off the mylar lining of my bars - YUMMY!

How's the weight loss going this week, Kiddo?
