Hi everyone,
Just checking in! I'm sorry to report that I have nothing to report as my scale is on a truck that left Saturday night...so I'll have to keep you posted when I see my scale on Tuesday! I FEEL good and got into the size 14 jeans I just bought this week, so I'm hopeful! If I'm using the "diagnostic pants", I'm doing well!

I just wanted to congratulate everyone who had losses, congratulate everyone who didn't lose but maintained and stuck with it, and welcome back everyone getting back on the wagon!

We're winning, can't you tell!

A special shout out to Carmel...That is so great that you started at curves AND chased the little white ball around the grass! That's awesome!

After a brief haitus (from the computer, not from the plan ;) ), I'm back, and happy to post a 4 lb lost over the course of the last two weeks. There was some fluctuation up and down, and I think some water retention from all the travelling, and I'm pretty certain I did some muscle building whilst hoofing my way around Disneyland and California Adventure. 28 hours in the park over the course of two days! And I rode the rollar coaster . . . and the shoulder bar thingy fit down over me with no problem! Nothing even got squished! Huzzah! I managed to stick to the plan during the whole trip (you CAN eat a Lean & Green at Disneyland!), and on the way home I treated myself to an amazing steak dinner at Harris Ranch with double veggies and no potato. On the last night, a friend and I decided that we did, in fact, have time for one more ride on Space Mountain, and we ran (RAN!) all the way to the line. On an incline. Passing people. With nary an asthma attack in sight. I'm not sure which I enjoyed more - Space Mountain, or the running to get there! The whole thing was a great experience (not to mention a ton of fun), and I got to be a good example for two people who are about to start the program.

Glad to be back with my Medibuddies, and even gladder to be weighing in at a svelte 208! Onederland is just over the hill . . .

Sorry for being so late!

Postby 1Angel » May 1st, 2006, 2:39 am

:goteam: Congrats Team! Great job!

After two weeks of food orgy, I've gained 8 pounds ... But now I'm back and I've dropped 6 pounds this week.

I don't even want to share what kind of foods I was attacking, because I don't want to give you guys any ideas ... :deadhorse:

The only good thing I've learned from this experience is that "NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS!" I was totally into the forbiden foods and I can assure you that nothing really tasted that good, I swear! ... And it was NOT WORTH IT!

It only slowed me down for 4 weeks ... 2 cheating and 2 to losing only what I've gained ... :aarggh:

I really envy all of you who have never cheated ... Please, hold on to your program, I can assure you, it's not worth cheating!

I was not good drinking my water nor having all my shakes on a regular schedule this week. I was very busy, going out every single day and staying too many hours without food. It's so hard to do this program while going out or being on the road all the time ... specially here in California, with jammed Freeways :drive: :redprowl: :burnout: :easyrider: :goldprowl: :biker: :runner: :walk: :pigsfly: ... (when you gotta go you gotta go ... and those of you who are drinking your water and shakes on a regular schedule know exactly what I am talking about, right?)

But no more excuses. I still have 9 weeks to lose 31 pounds. And by sticking to the program as it is writen, I'll be able to lose at least 3.5 pounds/week until July 30th ... Please, keep me in your prayers, I really need to do this right this time!

I'll be 50 years old on July 24th and my Half Century Birthday Party will be on the last Saturday of the month, July 30th. And my present to myself is to get in the house of the onederland by then. That's my short goal. I have until the end of the year to reach my ultimate goal of 160. Well, let's deal with "First things first"!

I'll need to be accountable and I promise to be compliant from now on. No more cheating ... so help me God!

Love
{{{hugs}}}

I'll post my results even though I'm a day late. I have lost 4.5lbs my first week bringing me down to 172lbs. I use two different scales and the digital one says that my body fat has dropped from 34% to 33%. I'm not sure how accurate that is but I'm still glad to see it drop.

I'm hoping to see at least 3lbs this week..I want to hit the 160's!

Everyone is doing so great! It really keeps me motivated to stick with good eatting habits right now. I can't wait to join you all back on Medifast as soon as I can.

You are all such an inspiration that it can be done and that while not always easy, it is so worth it.

Have a great losing week everyone!
