Congratulations to all you wonderful & tough losers out there!

Due to my big detour (swan dive off a cliff) for 6 days, I was up at one point to 203 from 192 last Sunday.

Now I have dumped a lot of water and am down to 198. I'm not going to spin this as a positive loss though, because it's really a 6 pound gain! :brickwall:

But I am back in the saddle, and despite some complaining from the horse, I am determined to get down to at least 192 by Christmas Eve. I want to be back where I was pre-screw up for the meet-up with my sister and her husband.

I have not seen her since August when I was about 215 pounds. I have been raving about Medifast to her, and dang it, I am NOT  going to look like a BLOATED water toad (thanks Spidey for that analogy!) for this holiday shindig.

Can I lose 6 pounds in 5 days? Usually my best is a half pound a day, not 1+, but heck, I'm gonna try! :burnout: Zoom Zoom!

C'mon Sarah, you can DO IT! You're learning from every mistake and that's what's important, after all. When you do reach goal you'll know how important it is to not make poor decisions and what the consequences are when you do. So you're learning and that's the important thing!

Me, I'm down my "usual" 3 this week. I'm leaving in the morning for a 10 day sweep through the states - about 3500 miles worth. That means mostly driving. My "challenge" for the trip will be that I usually "camel" it when I'm driving long distances. I don't drink ANYTHING all day so I only have to stop every 4 or 5 hours for gas and a quick visit to the loo. That's not going to work this time, not if I try (as I intend to do!) to stick as much to my plan as I can. I'll have to stop for loo breaks much more often and that will seriously impede my driving progress. Well, we'll see what happens!

Anyway, you pretty much won't hear from me until after Christmas and I'll most likely miss next Sunday weigh-in for the first time since I started 19 weeks ago! I wish all of you a very happy holiday and pray for your strength and courage to keep true to your diet. I'll be doing the best I can do to stay true to mine! Happy trails all....

Morning gang!

Reporting a 1 pound loss today. I'm still in transition taking each stage one week at a time instead of the 3-4 days that's also an option. I'm trying to make sure my metabolism gets properly adjusted before moving on to maintenance. So, I'm at 118! I'll be gaining back up to my goal of 125 I'm sure once I'm doing maintenance.

Hoping Santa visits and leaves you with a lot less (filling his sack with unwanted poundage)

You better be good, you better watch out, Santa Claus is coming ...
Camille

Way to go Ms. M, Gerald, Terri and Camille!

Sarah - good job getting right back to it. That's the important thing.

I'm struggling with complacency - and don't seem to have the determination I need to get back on the stick - but I'm working on it. I'm dealing with some of the old psychological issues again, which I guess is to be expected. As Mike tells me all the time "I think too much". I've been through this before though, I've just got to work through it.

Great job, everybody!

We'll miss you Spidey!

As for me - UGH. 2 weeks of sleeping and consuming massive juices and lozenges (and, who am I kidding - lots of CRAP), I went from 191 two Sundays ago to 200 on Sunday morning. Could you hear the brakes screeching where you are?! Yikes!

So, I don't care how crappy I feel, cold-wise, I'm back to shakes! FEED A COLD is a fallacy. My sickness didn't go away with all that food and now I'm fluffier than I have been in 6 months!! Maybe some of you can decide to drink some juice and not go buckwild, but apparently I can't.

Now I have 35 pounds to lose. Nice. Especially after Nancy mentioned me in her newsletter.

Good Morning Everyone!
We were gone all weekend off to Denver, Co to shop, dine out and see
The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular! It was Awesome!!
They had a live Nativity scene at the end with camels, sheep and donkey
which brought tears to my eyes with it's beauty.
Congrats to all our losers this week!
to those of you that struggled, hang in there and today is a new day.
I lost 4 pounds this week!!!!!!! :D
Which takes me down to a total of 45 pounds lost in 9 weeks!!
YIPPEE!!!
I am going to see in the New Year with 50 pounds of UCKY fat gone!!
As of this morning I now have less than 100 pounds to lose to hit my goal!!!
God Bless All,

Shrink aka Mary

:? Awww, RavenKat it's probably the sugars in the juice causing you to go nuts. My hubby, who is doing GREAT on maintenance had a bare sliver of pecan pie last week and said he could tell a huge difference in his cravings later that evening. He ate the pie around 1 pm and said that by 5 or 6 that evening he was ravenous and wanting JUNK and carbs!
I hope you feel better soon--maybe some MF chicken soup? :D

As for me, my Sunday weight was 235! I HIT my mini-goal! Again!
Honestly, I don't know how anyone could not love this. I feel SO WONDERFUL and being a clotheshorse, am amazed at some of the things I can wear now, and I absolutely do NOT miss the holiday food.
I'm finding that I really enjoy the company of others more when I'm not so focused on what's on the buffet table. I'm enjoying sitting and chatting over coffee--because I do more chatting than fretting over what pastries I want with the coffee.
I love it, love it, love it, and love you all. I know I've been a bit absentee this month, I have had several things come together at once and my online relationships are the first to suffer!
I do wish you all a wonderful holiday and the ability to make choices that leave you respectful of yourself in the New Year.
I'll be ringing in 2005 in a cranberry RED dress that I would not even have dreamed of wearing to ring in 2004. I wonder what I'll be in next year?

Merry Christmas, all!

G'daye everybody! I am finally beginning to believe everyone who keeps telling me to "just hang in there, the weight WILL come off". I am pleased to report a 6.5 pound weight loss this week. It feels good, especially after two weeks of dinky little 1 pounders!. (I know, a pound down is better than a pound up!) I had made myself a short goal of 30 poounds gone by New Years. Don't think I even wrote it on any of these forums 'cause I thought it would be impossible!...... hmmmmm ... I think I just might make it. The MF is great, but it is the support and encouragement and personal stories on here that is really keeping me diligient. Bless you all.

Karen, SRD and Shrink ~

All I can say is, "AWESOME!" I am really happy for you!

Kat, you'll dump those pounds. Just get into the de-flabbing mode and you will get there. You know how to do it, now it's just a matter of doin what you know works, not doing what you WANT to do but doing what you NEED to do.

Shake on, my Thinnin' Friends!
