Post your weight loss successes or failures here...:)

BonBon ~

You are too funny! You always look great and your hair looks so beautiful. People always want to pet your hair. :pet:

Unless we have some MAJOR weather invention in the next few weeks, we will not be able to wade in the water to hunt for agates. The Pacific Ocean in our neck of the woods is so cold it makes our feet and ankles turn blue.

BonBon, you are doing great with your weight loss program. I am proud of you. It is not easy choosing to eat a celery stick when there is carmel corn or sourdough bread enticing us! ;)

My dd's are out of school on June 2nd....six weeks and 1 day from today. I think a reasonable goal for me is to lose 15 lbs. by then, putting me at 185. I'm only concentrating on staying on-plan and let my body lose at whatever rate it will....I'm not impatient. If I work the Plan, it WILL WORK in time.

Sept. 1 (my anniversary), I can reasonably expect to be down somewhere around 160-165.

Terri ~

You are just the one to reach that goal, too! You will look so fine and have so much more room in your airplane seat with 40 pounds off your hiney and hippos!

40 Pounds...going...going...going with each packet you shake!

My birthday is July 10th and I'd just like to say that by that date I will still be on MF!

To me, that would be a MIRACLE! :-P

That would mean that I have been on MF for 3 months and 1 week.

And HOPEFULLY down at least 25 lbs.

.........Mara
Start Date: September 17, 2006!!!!

DH also on MF, Kids Are 12 and 10 - and of course OAKLEY the dog :-)

I hope you all don't mind that I just jump right on in here before I actually order MF but I want you all to know that my first gaol is to weigh 150 by August..thats when my husband, brother in law and I ride our motorcycles to Cali for my other brother in law graduation from the police acamedy.
After that I will decide if I am happy with that or if I want to loose more. I think I might want to loose like 10 to 15 more after that. Anyway that gives me like 4 months to do it. From what I have seem it CAN be done.

I want to lose 40 pounds by July 15th for my cruise to Bermuda. I know is probably impossible since I am 175 now and the weight comes off slower at this size. I just know that WW did nothing for me.

Ktrout ~

Oh, you're gonna be there, Baby! You have done an awesome job and are such an inspiration to us all. Your doctor must be so pleased with your weight loss and the changes in your blood chemistry and overall health.

You are such a loser, Ktrout that as you tear off another calendar page and begin a new month, you have nothing but more losing ahead of you. We are confident you'll reach your goal! Then we'll begin transition and work on maintenance throughout the fall and winter - happy new you!

Beach Baby, don't count yourself out from reaching your goal - it COULD happen; nothing is impossible. If you stick to the program and follow the Medi-guidelines, you could come very close to it. I lost about 60 pounds in 12 weeks...you have 75 days...

Elke, we are thrilled to have you along on the journey - read up, drink up and get ready to lose it!

Thanks! I needed to hear that. I am sick of everyone telling me not to get too upset if I only lose 5-10 pounds by July. It is discouraging.

We all lose at different rates, depending upon our metabolism, health status, medications, activity level, etc. There are many variables; we can only control our compliancy - that will affect your weight loss.
