Suggestion/idea?

:?: :idea: On the smoking cessation board I am a member of they do a daily pledge for anyone who wants to join in and tackle one day at a time.

Basically we virtually hold hands and pledge not to smoke this day. Helps people as far as accountability. Once you have pledged it's like a promise to yourself and your online buddies that at least for today you will overcome your "demons". Also, once you pledged it was like a "vow" to come to the board and ask for help making it through the crave or at the very least, posting until the crave passed.

I wondered what people thought of something like that here? Perhaps, Pledging to stick to plan TODAY...thereby sticking to plan one day at a time..I know from experience those days really add up fast.:)

Maybe this is already in place and I just haven't found it?lol
It's just an idea I thought I would throw out there if it sounds goofy just delete it..lol

I think that is a stupendous idea :bow: I know that yesterday I really could have used something like that. I find it sooo much easier to stick with the program when I am held accountable to someone. :lol: It may sound silly to some but I hate to let someone else down so when I give my word I feel like I am more obligated to stick to that word! You are going to do so well with this. I know you will have tons of success.
