I used to follow the MF website forum and when anyone asked about hair loss, MF answered that if you are concerned about hair loss, you can incorporate up to 1-2 tbl. of canola oil a day into your diet.
Personally, I think adding that much oil
could hinder my weight loss, so I have chosen not to use it. But, if I'm in a restaurant and they don't have low fat dressng, I will ask for oil & vinegar. I just use a few drops of the oil and then enough vinegar to coat the salad. I definately don't look for ways to add oil....I use PAM to cook my fish and I can't believe it's not butter spray on my veggies (in moderation because it contains fat and carbs in quantity).
I don't eat any of the snacks either, but not because I'm afraid of adding the calories, I just don't have time to fit them in. I feel like I'm eating or getting ready to eat all the time, lol.
Nancy, have any thoughts on using oil?
