Okay, so I just got really into the math and am hereby officially changing my goals. Hold me accountable!!!

The way I had it previously set, it was:
End of Summer, August 24th: 195 pounds
Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26th: 165 pounds
Christmas Day, Decem. 25th: 155 pounds
End of holiday break, Jan 20th: 145 pounds

I think that's too slow. If I went by that path, I would only have to lose .31#/day = 2.17#/week. I know I wanted to make these goals realistic and easy, but I think this is too easy. And I want a challenge.

Granted, there's a chance I fall short of this challenge. I may be unable to make it. But I'm going for it anyway.

New goals

Starting Point: Sept 13th: 185.6#

Thanksgiving Day, Nov 26th: 157# (-28.6) (.392#/day = 2.74#/week)

Christmas Day, Dec 25th: 145# (-12) (.40#/day = 2.8#/week)

I think averaging around 2.75/2.76# per week is reasonable.

These new goals are going to push me. But I'm going to win.

Goal 1: 195 by August 24th - CHECK
Goal 2: 157 by November 26th. lose 28.6#/73 days = .392#/day

Where are you shopping for clothes? I have discovered that trendier younger (which is where you should be shopping) stores have much slimmer cut clothing. Try American Eagle, Pac Sun, Aeropostale and Abercrombie. Even some of Old Navy's stuff is slimmer cut than it used to be. My husband has banned me from buying his clothes from the first four because they don't fit his broad shoulders. Good luck with the 28x28 jeans-you will probably have to special order on line. My son wears a 28x30 and we have to buy online or make friends when new shipments come in at Old Navy. American Eagle has great online clearance stuff-I used to buy my "fat" stuff there because nobody wanted the XXl stuff and their things almost never wear out. Also, if there is Aeropostale outlet around you, try that-they run amazing sales! Good luck with your new goals! I can't see beyond my cold/allergy/sinus thing at the moment to even contemplate the plan. I am practically high on Splenda, because hot sweetened tea is the only thing I want to drink. If you need any other fashion advice, just ask! I love to shop and buy clothes and point people in the right direction. If you prefer department stores let me know and I will tell you which brands would work. Give up and on the bigger retailers (Target, Wal-Mart, and Kohls, well don't write off Kohl's entirely).
