I look back at my first month and I remember the feeling that nothing would stop me - and it didn't. You need to decide right now that no matter what, you will NOT eat anything off plan. Decide that you would rather gnash your teeth or cry or scream than give in to urges to eat. If you live alone it should be easy to throw out everything in your cupboards and fridge. Hopefully by the time you drive to some fat-food place you'll have talked yourself out of it.
Honestly Jen, if we can do it, you can do it. You CAN do it.
Know now that you might get a headache and you will feel hungry but that all of it passes. Plan ahead for those moments. Be prepared at all times with shakes and water and something to keep your mind off food.
The book I am reading says that there is no such thing as will power - everything is a choice. Just
choose not to eat off plan. Choose now so you don't have to choose later; it's already been decided. It takes the pressure off.
