Hey everyone!
I enjoyed myself yesterday at the holiday bar-b-q, got it out of my system and started M.F. today. So far so good, but I know I have a long road ahead of me. I panicked a little once I started thinking about having to do my shakes once I go back to work next week and things like going on my twin boys all day class trip next week, but I just told myself you have to do what you have to do. Right now it's easy because I'm off for the weekend. I know it won't be as easy once I go back to my crazy hectic schedule on Tuesday. So I plan on blending my shakes ahead of time and bring them in a cooler bag during the class trip. If the students ask what I'm drinking I'll just tell them choc. milk. (my twins are in kindergarten). As far as work goes, I told myself no matter how busy I get with my patients, I'll find time to chug my shakes as scheduled, so I won't end up waiting to long until I'm famished and end up cheating. My short term goal is to get most of the weight off over the summer, before the kids go back to school in September. I know I won't get all of it off, but I would like to get at least 30-40 lbs. off. I hope that's doable on this program. When I put my next months order in I will order I case of the RTD shakes for when I'm out. This month I ordered all powdered shakes because thy're more cost effective. The RTD's get a little pricey if you are going to be on this program for a while, like I am. Everyone enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend. The best to all of you!

70, I can't live without my RTDs. They can be pricey, but they are worth every penny because they keep me on program. Where I work, there's only a fridge, no sink, etc. So I take my RTDs and stay on program. Yesterday, I went to 6 flags and (you are allowed to take infant & special diet food into the park) I froze my RTDs the night before, kept them in a cooler on the way there, and had a bar & RTD there, and another RTD when we got out. Sometimes I forget to make my shake & I have to leave right away, so I grab an RTD. Sounds like I drink a lot of these, but I really don't. They are very useful :)

You are off to a good start, 70!
Thinking about what I call "roadblocks" ahead is great.
I actually find it a bit easier at work -- less temptation -- once you figure out a routine that works for you.
Your goal of 30-40 pounds over the next 3 - 4 months seems reasonable to me.
Good Luck! and Welcome back to Medifast! :D

Im still a novice, obviously, but Ive come up with a way to store a few shakes discreetly and effectively. I bought some sports drink in an aluminum can -- dumped out the drink -- and use that to carry two of my shakes.

Its been working out great; I like to put a 1/4 inch of water on the bottom and throw it in the freezer overnight - Then the next morning i magic bullet my shakes into that. It keeps my drinks cold for over 4 hours, and considering i keep it in my locker inside of my hoodie pocket thats pretty good! Just make sure you keep in mind its going to condensate and make whatever you have it in/on wet :)
