Medifast is such a low calorie diet that if you exercise too much, you run the risk of burning too many calories. If your body thinks it's starving, it will hold on to the weight. That's how exercise can slow your weight loss. Nancy has some great posts about exercise. If you do a search, you can read what she has to say about it.
I go to curves three times a week and so some light exercise, walking, house work, etc. on the other days. Before Medifast, I didn't exercise at all except to get where I needed to go using the shortest flattest route possible, lol. They say that someone who is used to exercise can continue at a bit higher level than someone who, like me, was sedentary.
