Star Wars (order of viewing)

Postby Arklahoma » July 10th, 2006, 11:11 am

Would like to watch all the Star Wars movies b4 I start my job next week. I saw Star Wars when I was a kid and then saw the Empire Strikes Back. What order should I watch all of these to make sense of the storyline?

Chronologically they are labeled Episode I, Episode II.. when we were kids it started with episode IV.

The chronological order is Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, Star wars, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi.

Would it matter if I started with episode 1 and went through 6 or should I go by release dates?

Not really ~ My husband says that I'm a "visual virgin". He can't believe all the movies that I've never seen before. I just watched Fame the other day and he said, "you gonna get any new movies or just watch old stuff".

if you start by chapter order, you won't want to finish the series.

Yeah if you watch them as they were released, you're going to get the surprises just like the rest of us that didn't read the books. :) LOL!

Hey, I got nothing but time, right now, so IV, V, VI, I, II, III it is. BTW, I didn't even know they had books. I thought it was just a movie.
