something NOT to try!!!

I absent mindedly grabbed a dutch chocolate 55 tonight for making my hot cocoa. Noticed it mixed funny... And was really thick... In the middle of nuking it, I suddenly realized what I had done!! I tried sticking it in the freezer, but no amount of help was going to save that mess!! I did myself a favor and didn't force myself to gag it down.

Always check your packets before mixing them!! I'm still getting the heebie jeebies about that awful awful taste!!

*laugh* I did that once while I was waiting for my hot cocoa to ship. :) I almost canceled my order after that.. I figured if it tasted that bad then the other stuff couldn't possibly be good hot either. :) Still not really fond of the hot drinks, but the Cocoa is way better than hot shakes.

I use the cocoa to make mochas in the morning. Tried it with a shake once when I ran out of cocoa. YUCK!!! Tasted like something out of the litter box. Live and learn.

Sinus/Drain Cleaner

Postby Jan » April 18th, 2005, 10:47 am

 I found out the hard way that a little is a good thing and more IS NOT BETTER!! My experiment started with one Dutch Chocolate shake and a little bottle of peppermint extract. The peppermint extract bolttle was actually dry soooo I just added water, shook well ( as we're instructed to do) and poured it into my shake. This is where the experiment went WRONG . Little did I know that I

Ha ha ha-- Jan, I have definitely fallen victim to the peppermint extract overload! I had to toss out an entire shake because I just couldn't stand the pain! I think I threw the bottle out to avoid the whole trauma happening again! Too funny....

I have mixed my chocolate shake mix (diabetic) with relatively hot coffee to make a mocha and it was fine. It tasted good and I had no lumpage. I mixed the powder up with a small amount of liquid first then added more coffee.

Thanks, biki  - the Vaniller shake is also pretty good stirred into a cup of coffee.
