what a jerk

I think he got the point when I shot him my "death ray" stare.

I've done the same and everyone (except for one) at my work is very supportive. In the coming weeks some of them or their wives or husbands may be joining in on the program due to my success. I put it out there from day 1 to have accountability, but also to maybe help other realize that it isn't as hard as we all thought it could be to work toward getting healthy.wildtrk wrote:There are about 25 people in my office and all of them knew from practically day 1 that I was on a diet. Hard to conceal when I was shakin' it up all the time. But for me I didn't care in fact I felt that they were the diet police for me. If I cheated they would look at me and make a comment. And as the weeks went on and saw that I was serious, they became my biggest "offline" supporters. My wife and I went out to dinner and a show with a co-worker and his wife (who I had never previously met). At dinner as I was ordering my L&G she said your right he is a rock! It is a little freaky that my diet and weightloss lives on in other conversations way beyond me, but I am good with that. Especially if it motivates someone else to do something about it.
I do understand how you feel...but what I am saying is if you put it out there...and to use some street slang...if you can bring it and not just sing it. Then in a few weeks those people offering you pizza will be a great support network.
Then again it is just my $.02 and I work better as comic relief.
