Ty Pennington and crew from the reality show "Extreme MakeOver:Home Edition is here in my hometown about 5 miles from me. A family in Colonie, New York was chosen to have there home made over. It is a mother of 4 children, 2 of whom have the HIV virus. The foundation of the home is sinking very badly and other stuff going on as well.
They came yesterday morning and whisked them away to the Bahama's i believe, and next Friday they will return home. Tomorrow they will do the demolition. Today they were clearing the inside of the home.

I know exactly where it is:+)))but the area is only asscessible to ONLY the people and companies working on the project.
My husband's son is one of the people picked to do the "Tiling" (kitchen, bathroom,etc.) I am soooo proud of him:+)

The show will air on May 20th on ABC at either 8:00 or 9:00pm Eastern Standard Time (finale)...it will be 2 hours long. I am soooo EXCITED!!!

That's so cool! I haven't watched that show in a long time because it was too emotionally draining for me to watch it. But remind us as it gets closer, I want to tune in for this one!!

There are "two" different Extreme MakeOver shows. I'm thinking you're referring to the "medical" one right? This one just deals with rebuilding homes for people in dire need:+)

Yeah, i have the tissues right next to me too Katie..it is a verrry touching program...my heart goes out to those families The "old" house is GONE as of yesterday:+)

Yeah I love that show. They were here in Oklahoma and some friends of mine were trying to get close up, but they won't let you. Not sure when that show will air, but it was in Lawton Oklahoma.

Well they always gave them those HUGE veneers that looked so unnatural. Some veneers can look good, but those didn't! Sorry about the laptop!

WELL..tune to ABC tomorrow night at 7:00pm for all the behind the scenes things that went on.

Sunday night at 7-9pm (May 20th) will be the two hour finale show on ABC!..and guess what, i'm going to be at a cocktail sip, so we'll have to record it:+(
