Awww...thanks Biki!!

So as I wrote in someone else's journal (lol, I think it was yours Biki!), I received my MBT shoes in the mail yesterday. I'm just fixin' to get on the treadmill with them on. I'm so excited!

I haven't been on the forum much lately, for obvious reasons, but I just checked in and saw your photo. All I can say is, hubba hubba!!! You look stunning, Sojo, truly stunning.

Can I ask what your European size was? I thought mine was 37 but measured a 38 in the MBTs.

I'm trying to visualize this and all I can come up with is Elaine on Seinfeld. :roflmao:

 Smartass! If I danced like Elaine, my back would never recover!! It really doesn't "look" any different, but my legs can sure tell the difference for the next day or two!

DeDe: I just answered your questions about the shoes in Biki's journal. They ROCK! Thanks for the "Holy Camoly" about the dress!

Lucy & Robin: Thanks for the "Hubba Hubbas!" I love it! Oh, and Robin? I agree with Alex - even though you've only met JDG twice, it does sound as though you're gonna' have to put out!! He sounds very, very sweet! (...and I think Michael Tucker is adorable!!)

Biki: My European size is a 39, which is equivalent to an 8.5 in U.S. sizing. That's pretty true-to-size for me in sneakers. Depending on the brand, I can wear anywhere from an 8 to a 9. My favorite brand (B4 MBTs!), Asics, is usually an 8.5, so the MBTs were right on. I've read that the different styles of MBTs can mean different sizes, but I dunno...Mine are the "sport" style.

Hasta, y'all!!

Wow! It's been so long since I made a journal entry!
The spring semester begins tomorrow, so I may be around a little less frequently for a while. Until I get in the rhythm of my schedule, at least. I think I said that last term too, but it didn't seem to affect me too much - even with all that reading I had to do!! The fall semester was the one that nearly did me in, but my spring schedule is nowhere near as demanding. Four classes, 12 units - pretty basic. I'm really looking forward to my Intermediate Sign Language class, the Beginning one was so much fun!! Not to mention that I can claim trilinguality now (even though my Spanish is nowhere near perfect! Hey, it's better than Jo's!!!)

I'm really happy to be getting into a set schedule. I know it's gonna' make a big difference, MF-wise. Ironically, this evening I answered someone's question about how often one should weigh, and I haven't been on the metal monster in weeks! But, I still feel great, my clothes fit well (some days looser than others), and I'm much more toned than I've been in quite some time. Yay, me! Plus, I'm getting pretty good at this visualization thing!

Once my routine flattens out, my feeding, watering, and exercise schedules will be more set and my body can stop trying to figure out what I'm doing! Hopefully, my workload won't be so demanding that my sleep schedule will be too negatively impacted. Gotta' give the Sleep Fairy time to work her magic!

I really do feel changes in the air...I don't know - a refocusing or something. Whatever it is, I'm going with it. Commando Medifast! (thanks Carrie!)

Hasta!

Hey Sojo~ what are you majoring in? How long do you have left?

I have actually been thinking about going back to school to get another Master's degree or a specialist's degree. (in education)

I'm glad this semester will be a little easier for you. I know going to school and managing life can be very hectic. You seem to be doing a great job! Good for you!

Jo & Biki: Guacamole!!

Donica: Thanks for the props! I'm majoring in psychology and have about a year to go for my BS, and then on toward my Masters and MFT. So...a while yet!

Okay, gotta' go to school now.
Ciao y'all!

Today was great! I got 8+ hours of sleep last night :snooze:, had two very interesting classes, and my 5/1 :eat: and water :guzzle: went perfectly according to schedule and without a hitch - no snacks were needed and I only had 1 cup of coffee instead of 4 or 5!

I didn't get any treadmill time in, but I have a 2 hour break inbetween classes, during which I walked the entire perimeter of the campus. That was really nice, though I think I prefer the treadmill...as far as actual aerobic exercise :bounce: is concerned, but I didn't want to turn it up and be all sweaty and stinky for my next class! I hadn't really thought about fitting treadmill time into my class schedule :dooh: until I was already at school. I knew I'd be tired after school (class until 7:00 pm), so I opted for the walk around the campus. Tomorrow, I'll treadmill in the a.m., before my shower. :treadjog:

:yay:I feel really good. I hope to be able to maintain this schedule throughout the semester and, barring a really demanding workload, I should be able to do just that. Yay!

Hasta, y'all!
