Postby MaryElizabeth » June 30th, 2006, 9:55 pm

I am trying to read this right so help me please

snacks are listed as these
2 pickels
3 celery sticks
2 fast soups or bouillion
crackers
soy chips

I know soy chips and crackers are limited to once a day, but does that mean I cannot have a pickle or fast soup that day?

Thanks but I am confused still.

I go into work around 4 am. I work until noon or so. I understand the meals and that there are counts of each. Sometimes I like to have a little snack to keep me awake at work. I really can't get anywhere to run to the bathroom, so I do not always like to overdo the coffee.

Here is how I see it. Correct me if I am wrong.

1. 5 supplements

2. 7 oz chicken or fish OR 5 oz. meats like pork, veal, steak

3. 1 1/2 cups of salad greens and 1/2 cup of vegetables OR 1 1/2-2

cups cooked vegetables

4. One snack

So, if I have crackers in chicken noodle soup, then I cannot have a pickle or some celery. I thought celery and pickles were not snacks, but free foods that I can have each day. I understand about the crackers or soy chips being limited.

Thanks dede for your help. No one else seems to want to help me. I am not sure if I want to buy any more products. I bought some samples and a friends quit and gave me some food.

This sounds exactly on plan, and yes it IS only one snack a day of any of those, Buuut you can have in addition up to 5 pieces of sugar free gum or mints a day......

Your plan looks great.

There is no "free food" on Medifast. You can only have one snack per day. If you have the crackers with your soup that is the snack for the day.

Good Luck.

Some people also have an extra shake. Many of us need the extra calories because we are more active or just can't seem to "function" without it.

You definately are getting the right answers, and remember you can do this! All you need to do is change some habits that make you think of food and do something to keep your mind off of it! Good luck!
