How do you get the smilie faces into a message?

I noticed there was another Trish so I'll stsrt signing mine "Texas Trish"

Hi Texas Trish,
When you reply to a message, the Emoticons are off to your left and you just click on the one you want to insert into the body of your text.

Typing Trish & Texas Trish! Sounds good to me! :kool:

See the little "emoticons" on the left hand side of the box when you type your replies?....click on those or underneath it there are more with "View More Emoticons". Place your cursor where you want the Smiley, and voila...it's here! :lol:

I'm really computer illiterate. How do you insert? I know how to insert on a regular e-mail, but I don't see the word insert in this reply form.
