Hi Alex!!
First of all.. Congrats on getting rid of those 16lbs!! Good for you!!
As for the skin issue.. Here's how I have heard Nancy explain it. (Nancy, feel free to correct me if I get it wrong..lol) Okay... picture a balloon blown up and stretched full of air. Now picture someone letting the air out of it. The balloon now has some wrinkles and there's still some air in there. It's puffy, but you can see it begin to regain it's prior shape. Over TIME (time being the key word) it will become smaller and smaller. The balloon probably won't ever be back to it's perfect orig. state, but it will be close... Our skin is the same. It
will "deflate" as the balloon, but it will take time, and it may not look exactly like it did during our pre-weight years.. But we'll be skinny, and
most importantly healthier.
Okay..so Nancy sounds so much better explaining it.. lol but that's the gist of it.
Everyone has different factors which will determine how quickly and how much of our skin returns to normal. But as Diana said.. Nancy is living proof of what we have to look forward to.. Have you seen her "spandex" pics.. She def. looks awesome!
I have heard toning exercises help.
I plan on slowly toning throughout my journey. But the best thing you can do is be patient. (I know easier said than done..dang it!
) You are on the road to breaking out of the shell
and you will be one sexy chick!
And hey...if you guys do get a group rate.. don't forget to let me know..
No amount of "shaking" is going to get my chest to move back up north after having 2 kids..lol
