Thanks for the reminder Maura!

Laureen - I went into a tan place the other day when I had moment and they do an airsrpay technique. The lady said the Mystic tan was hard to get to look good if you did not turn at the right time or the right way. Do you know anything about this? How does yours work?

When I used to get Mystic Tans at a salon in Dallas, they always suggested I tan in a bed first for 10-15 minutes to "open up my pores". Sounds hokey to me but I just followed the directions. Then you get sprayed and they tell you to towel off the excess right away. It is not at all as extreme as that episode of Friends where Ross gets sprayed and looks ridiculous. I thought this (the toweling off) might make me uneven but it didn't. For me the tan took hours to show and was light after just one session. I don't want to use beds anymore, so if I find a Mystic place around here I will just get sprayed. But as I posted earlier, I am going to try the new Lancome spray on.

Mystic Spray Tan.....for me.... :hmmm: ..I guess I didn't turn right..... ....tried it on 3 different occassions...both my daughter and myself....I thought I looked great...nice and dark...she looked like a snake...all spotted...UNTIL...I checked out the back of my legs & noticed I also looked like a snake...and it took 1 year for my nails to grow out of the orange discoloration....we followed the directions to a tea but weren't successful.... my daughter was at her dance 2 days later...and when she started to sweat she was sweating orange and was all spotted.... :roflmao: ...but don't go by me ...I've heard of others who have been very successful with it

haha Nancy, that is one allergy I can live with.........

I have some of that DaVinci PB syrup......in fact, we have about 15 different flavors of the stuff. Speaking of the syrup.......Heidi got some of the "Pancake Syrup" flavor to put in her oatmeal. Ya have to watch this one.......because it is the only one that requires refrigeration after it is opened.

Dean-oh ~
that is one allergy I can live with.........

maybe if you didn't wear those  47 pound glasses you'd get a little more cooperation

Thanks for the headsup regarding the pancake flavored DaVinci syrup ...it must be pretty difficult to eat your oatmeal from inside the refrigerator without dribbling on your flannel jammies.

:x I hate it in there 'cuz the  light always goes out when the door slams shut...

Well, the 47 pound glasses are that heavy because as I said, I chose the concrete block frames........the lenses are not all that thick. I really don't even need them, but they help maintain my secret identity until help is needed and I go into my "faster than a speeding bullet mode". (this mode is not used when feeding my allergy......so NO wise cracks Nancy!! )

:shades:

jammies are worn by the leopardess while sitting inside the darkened refer, slurping pancake-flavoured syrup-laced maple and brown sugar oatmeal, just prior to lair-leapage, at which time she abandons the said spotted jammies in favour of snugglin' and sneezin' ~ due to her severe case of allergies...
