Size 12! Size 12!

So I finally got sick up hiking up my size 16 jeans and hit a thrift store for some mid-way clothes. I pulled a 14 off the rack and (just for fun) a 12. The 14 fit, but was a little loose. I tried the 12 and was shocked, SHOCKED I say, when they actually slid over my hips! I had to stifle the hysterical giggling as I stared at the mirror. I honestly cannot remember the last time I wore size 12.

I bought 2 pairs of size 12 jeans and have been a grinning fool for a day now. The 12s I am wearing now are tight, but not indecently so. There is no muffin top when I stand up, but the waist does dig into me a bit when I sit. It feels nice after several weeks of too-loose clothes. Everytime I go to the bathroom at work, I get caught up staring at my behind in the mirror. And every step I take through the halls, I am thinking "Size 12! Size 12!"

I have another 20lbs or so to lose, but today? I feel like Twiggy. 8)

And don't get too attached to those jeans. You know they'll be baggy soon enough!!

YAY! im almost into 18s...i think...i dont want to check till my 20's are falling off...they are getting close i think. i have a pair of size 20's i think were mislabeled though because they are the same size as a pair of 18s or even 16's i have , they can button but it aint pretty haha

WOW size 12 is only a dream for me. I don't know the last time I was in a 12.
My 16 are loose but I will wait til they fall off. I have noticed that some colors fit differently that others, like black seems smaller

HOW funny! Congrats! I had the same identical experience last night. I went into a Lucky jeans store by my house. I found cargo pants that I liked. I got a 14 to try on, as well as a 12, just for fun. Anyway, the 12's fit comfortably! So I got them! I am wearing them today and also have been doing the "Size 12 Happy Dance" all day!
