Six weeks in

Postby igm46 » March 20th, 2006, 9:14 pm

Hello everyone. I have been reading the message boards for weeks now and have finally decided to post. I started Medifast 6 weeks ago and have lost thirty pounds so far. I am very HAPPY with Medifast. It's been years since I have been able to follow anything, I still can't believe how easy this program is. I had just about given up, when Medifast found me!! I have about 100 pounds more to lose, but it doesn't seem so impossible anymore. Looking forward to joining the Sunday morning rollcall.

How Medifast found me

Postby igm46 » March 20th, 2006, 9:44 pm

Well, to be honest, before January I'd never heard of Medifast before. I had tried Weight Watchers the month before and lost ten pounds, but something just wasn't clicking with me so I quit. I was at least 150 pounds overweight but had convinced myself that I would never be able to lose the weight. Well, I somehow came across Medifast three times all in the same day! I re-read my old People magazine that I had read 3 weeks before and saw a weightloss story of someone losing over 100 pounds on Medifast. I had read the article before but I guess didn't pay much attention. I then went to my doctor's appointment, opened another magazine and there staring at me was an ad on Medifast where you get one week free for buying four weeks. I then later that day talked to my sister on the phone. She was excited about a diet plan she had just purchased for herself. Can anyone guess what it was??!! MEDIFAST!!! I figured someone was trying to tell me something. Ya Think?? So I looked up the diet and was hooked. So here I am six weeks later, and 30 pounds lighter.

IGM,

I was so excited when I read your story, I just couldn't wait to congratulate you. :bouncie:

My stars! :star: :star: :star: 30 pounds in 6 weeks.

It's taking some of us twice that long to reach those fantastic numbers. ..but we're all getting there day by day by day. :treadjog:

Many of us learned about MF through whatever means at a time when we felt that nothing in the world could help us... we had already tried everything...we thought we were destined to be fat forever. :dunno:

Aren't we unbelievably happy that Medifast and MakeMeThinner forum found us! :whoohoo:
