Contract!

Postby Signladytf » October 8th, 2007, 4:01 pm

Pray hard, those of you who pray! I have a contract on my house that has been on the market since February! The buyers want to close ASAP-- before Oct 31st! This nightmare may be over!!

This has been a large source of cravings for me--emotional eating, you know...

Dear Heavenly Father,

You are in control of very situation, but I ask now for a special watch over my new friend and her situation with her house. Moving is such a stressful time and having a house for sale is especially nerve wracking. We have so much on our minds right now tring to become healthy individuals in body, mind and spirit. The extra stress makes living healthy even mor difficult. May You bless this contract and allow it to go through without any difficulties.

I trust that You are already working for Your glorious will in this and all Your children's situations.

In the name of your precious Holy Son, Jesus Christ. Amen :rose:

Thanks so much for your support!

I am down another pound today...that makes 33 total! I wouldn't weigh every day if I didn't think the weight was coming off so quickly, but I'm enjoying watching it decline....

Keep shakin'! TSFL Conference is around the corner!

Unless I have forgotten or messed it up by drinking too much water when I get up, I have always weighed every day. Why not? If the number isn't good, depending on how bad,it coud be a fluke or a useful sign that some things need to be changed. And if the number is good, especially several times a week, it's like the friggin' Fourth of July every time! Who would want to miss that???? And if the scale is going to be THAT bad, let's face it, you'll have an inkling before weigh-in. This is also a great time for you because if you are like most MF's there will be times when the scale doesn't move at all. For days. Or maybe two weeks. It has happened. Or you might see a little fluctuation here and there that you can't explain. But it will all come out in the wash. Just stay patient. Stay compliant! And you'll be fine!

That's good sound thinking, Biki...I always struggle with that weigh/don't weigh everyday. The trick for me is to not be run by it either way. Just keep doing what we know to do.

To weigh by the day or not to weigh - now that is a question....

I don't weigh everyday, but that is because we have a crappy scale at home and I don't trust it. I weigh on Tuesday and Thursday when I am at phyiscal therapy for my ankle. Same scale more trust worthy.

That being said I think it depends on the person and their emotions as to whether one should weigh everyday or not. If a pound or 2 up or no change at all is going to ruin your day and make you beat up on yourself then this probably isn't a good idea. If a person can handle the little ups or nothings that may come with weighing everyday than I say go for it!

Great job!

Hey Tammy,

I weigh every day. I'm down to two scales now, but at one time I had 4. Well, I still have 4 but I only weigh on 2 of them. A bit out of control, but I like seeing the scale go down so much that I'm willing to see a slight increase on some days.

Congrats on the 33 pounds gone! Keep up the great work!

Oy vey! 4 scales!! I still have the same one scale, but I weigh 3 times or 5 times, depending on my stamina... Our floors are not level, so I take best 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5 in order to make sure that I've got a good weight.

I know the last time I did MF I was totally scale-obsessed. This time, I could go without weighing if I had to. I am more concerned about staying completely on program, no deviations.

I can tell changes in my body, where I'm losing inches. I'm just ready to go down some serious clothing sizes. I haven't been lower than a 30/32 since I've been married! My first clothing goal is 26/28, then 18W, then for some reason, I'm obsessed with the number 12. I couldn't imagine being in the single digits!!! I should say, I can't imagine it, but I can definitely WANT it. :)

Let's just keep things in perspective here.....it's all about ME. For once, it's all about me!!!! Yippee!!! :cheermed:

TOM arrived for a visit tonight, which makes me very excited--because for me, typically, once TOM leaves, I get a whoosh! Tee hee!!!! :yay:

One of my skinny little co-workers brought for her lunch today--a bag of popcorn, a banana, a mountain dew and a whole package of hawaiian rolls. I almost fell asleep from the carbs wafting across the table!! Then, I put on my shield of Medifast and slurped down a Raspberry Tea to ward off the carb monster. It fit me perfectly. :muahaha:

Way to go! Man it must have been hard to watch the little thing just eat away and not think anything of it. So impressed that you were able to just look away and drink that tea. You go girl!
