Yes, I did!!
I am so dumb. I guess I just never really just picked a day to start. I just grabbed stuff in the morning and by the afternoon if I was still doing it, I was, if not, then nah. Like I said, I should plan better and things would be better.
Today is National Donut Day-- it was on the news this AM.
So, yeah, I did. I had an oatmeal crunch bar and am working on 32 oz. of water. Water is not an issue for me, so I am sure I'll end up with 200 oz. by bed time.
So, I am not in school now b/c of summer break, so my times are all out of whack. I sleep off times because I am up at all hours typing/researching/avoiding ways of doing typing and researching.
Anyhow, I ended up going to bed at about 630 this morning (Friday am) and woke up around 1 pm or so, so my day is not exactly the schedule that everyone else has normally. But, I did good, I think. I got up at switched the loads of laundry, put new in and hung the other stuff up to dry. I am really trying to clean what I can before I move!!
I also had that box I had brought in from my car. It was a box of MF bars I had ordered---the new crunch ones and also a box of tomato soup I had purchased not realizing I had plenty already here in another drawer..duh. So, yeah, I put the bars away, ripped up the box, cleaned up the bathroom. Finally had a bar. I like the oatmeal crunch bar a lot. I had the strawberry one a week or so ago and the mint one, too. Definitely like the oatmeal the best, so far. Gotta order some of the other flavors. There was a list of all of them, so now I see in one spot all of them and their picture. Word on the street is the caramel one is really good.
In this last order that I got and remember this has been sitting in the box, so maybe they have been doing this for a while and I missed it, there was a much simpler brochure on lean & green options and measurements. So, I saved that. There was also another copy of the same one in a folder. So, I am going to keep one in the car, too. And, of course, another shaker cup.
OK, so I was reading on some other sites about MF recipes and options and 2 things hit me, then I hit myself and said DUH! Number 1- I make cold hot chocolate shakes all the time why not make hot pudding soup like one poster suggested. With the right flavorings it could work and instead of chocolate like she suggested, why not vanilla and then I could add flavor drops and possibly end up with warm apple pie flavored pudding with a spoon of vanilla ice cream flavored cream cheese? There's warm chocolate Mexican soup I make, so maybe I will doctor it up with cinnamon. I will play with those and see how it goes. Revelation number 2- I am driving to all these places...why not just pack the Magic Bullet. It's small enough. I am packing oatmeal and bars, why not throw that in the bag, too. Ockham's Razor wins out again. I mean, yeah, I could bring bars and oatmeal and hot chocolate and make them in the hotel room, but why not take advantage of the free ice machine and make some shakes, too. Wow, sometimes I need to think things through more, which is odd coming from me b/c I give myself headaches thinking too hard sometimes.
So, 2 cups of egg beaters is a lot. I think I am going to use 1 cup of the egg and 1 MSF and make an omelette. Then, my favorite, cucumbers or spinach in the egg. Question---> the cheese wedges you guys talk about you count 2 per day as your fat as MF nurse says, or you include it as a non-meat option? Also, how do you measure the MSF crumbles. I like those better w/ the eggs, so I think a cup of them might be the same?
OK. I have actually taken the time to write a plan. Gasp here. Like I said I am writing about stressors in the education world (for the educator, not the students---good study, but too much involved with including minors in research) and yoga and meditation keep coming up. So, I decided that I will be moved into the new place by the 13th and by the 15th completely. That should give me time to put stuff away and there is the window of time I need to get used to MF full time and do the exercise daily. So, I have these yoga tapes, Walk Away the Pounds and some rather dumb Richard Simmons ones. But, I digress...If I wake up early in the AM and can do something for a half hour or so and ditto at night and include in there a yoga tape, that would be great. I'll schedule it in and whatever else I do, will be a bonus. I just really need to be living alone for a while so I can get my stuff back on track. I am going to see if my dad will give me the exercise bike he bought off craigslist and decided that he doesn't like the layout of some bar on it. Maybe I can take it off his hands since he is looking to simplify lately. Even if I ride while I watch TV at night that would be good.
I don't know if I have stated this, but I really, really want to live on my own again. My brother will be moving out to an apartment in the building next door to me. I have no doubt the baby will be with me almost all the time, but knowing I am not responsible for their gas, electric, cable, insurance, phone, rent, food in the fridge is going to be great for me. Saving money on the bills and knowing that what I put in the fridge and cabinets will be there when I want it is going to be so much easier than being upset about them not taking care of their kid right, eating my food, not replacing stuff. So, yes, I think that once I can have some other stress reduced, not gone, and everything else starts falling into place, things will be better. Something like planning ahead will be simple for me when I know no one is around to ask questions, touch my stuff, move it, eat it...
Gonna start a new post for the food of the day chart.
Don't really care as long as everything's better than yesterday was...
