It's so hard to find your journal because I go through the list looking for one called "Joleen" . I miss you but wanted to let you know I am feeling much better and the crisis seems to have passed even if I feel a little low. Sometimes not being nervous and fidgety can have it's advantages. It's just hard to get moving. I feel sluggish not like a deer.

Your reunion with your friends so like so much fun. We did that a couple of years ago with my friends that I went to grade school with. We went to a private school It was so fun going out to dinner and acting like kids again.

How is the kitchen going??

Oh, I forgot. I didn't want you to find out later and become upset. I only half-way jokingly requested that Tawanda make me some aubergine socks as opposed to violet. Not that they could ever be better than the color I have now, but I thought a darker purple would be a nice addition to my sock wardrobe....she is probably too busy anyway

I had a few minutes, so thought I'd better post something in my journal so that it wouldn't disappear to page 2, hehe.

There really isn't much to report, though. No food issues to speak of.....not that I don't struggle here and there, but that's boring and not enough of a problem to come here and whine about. A lifetime of struggles is little price to pay for being thin.

Now work! That's another story. We finally hired another CPA, but she doesn't start until Monday. We are so far behind due to many reasons, the main one being that the last CPA we had working for us became very lazy and put off alot of her work. Guess who gets to take up the slack. :x

That's why I've been so scarce....well, that and the fact that we unhooked our home computer when they started our kitchen. Oh yeah, the kitchen is coming along nicely. They have the floor done and about 2/3 of the lower cabinets done. They're painting the walls today.....I'd say they have about 3 more weeks of work to do. We're so tired of eating out. Never thought I'd say that! But when you have to do it, it's not so fun. We're buying new every day dishes and new pots & pans to go with our new kitchen. Maybe hubby will feel like cooking!

I sure hope you share before & after photos of the kitchen. I'd love to have new dishes & pans....OH! and new kitchen towels (I know, they aren't expensive and I could buy some now-----but I'm in the middle of a whine....).

Glad you didn't completely disappear, JO.
So many journal posters, it's hard to find a parking space, anymore.
It's sure nice to see so many speeding toward goal :drive: and nearly running us over.
There's a whole new bunch coming along and I'm beginning to feel 'old hat'!
Time changes things, eh?
But it's a good thing...
