Ha, Jo, don't lie, we know you're an intellectual hiding behind an accountant's job!

Biki, I don't speak French (a little Spanish, a little Korean, a little Hebrew), but when it comes to food terms, I've got 'em covered! :-)

My aptitude is definately with numbers. I stumble over the English language and such, but give me a stack of numbers to "decipher" and I'm in my element! All becomes clear with an equal sign and double underlines!

Exactly! No French, but I'm fairly fluent in both Spanish and Sign Language (hey, that counts!)...and, yes, I usually know the food terms ;). Yeah, okay ~ AND the anatomy terms, too (bouche).

Just checking in. I've lost 4 pounds since Saturday, but just 2 since I made my ticker. If I lose all of that weight, I'll be back well below my goal weight and I'll be much more at ease.

Even though I'm not far from my goal, I'm just so uncomfortable. I have this feeling of doom that I can't shake even though I know I'm doing what I need to do.

This maintenance thing is such a head game!

Well done getting back to where you feel best, Jo. It must be so tempting to just let things slide for a bit, take a break, etc. when are looking so tiny and cute! Your commitment is inspiring! :D

Jo, I think maintenance scares me more than the program ever did. To have to police myself around 'real' food is going to be a huge challenge. Right now it is packets and timing.....resisting temptation isn't as hard when you don't take that first bite. Stopping after taking a 'normal' portion is going to be hard for me. I know, now, that I can get the weight off..........but keeping it off is going to be the very difficult part for me.

Finally, the flowers are planted. Why do I buy so many when I know I have to plant everything I buy? One of lifes great mysteries.....

Tomorrow should be a little more leisurely except the hubster mentioned cleaning out his garage......think I'll make myself scarce for that one.

Yeah, we have separate garages, lol. He has all of his "stuff" in his......I don't ever have to go there except to get the sports car out.

What kind of car did you end up with? Do tell!

I bought a dark navy blue volvo.
Im in love
I wish my hub had his own shop. He really pigs up his half of the barn. I do not like it. He has 2 torn apart cars down there with a multitude of crap everywhere. I made a wall out of split logs so I would not have to look at it. He has the nerve to tell my my presious llamas' poop stinks! go figure.
have a great mem day.

hb, sounds like your hubbies came from the same mold. Mine thinks that his scattered mail, shoes, dirty socks, etc., make our house look lived in and that all of my stuff, even though it's where it's supposed to be, is clutter! :brickwall:

The best way for him to get me irate is to put some of his stuff in my garage because my garage is more handy. Right now, there are 3 dog kennels and a log splitter and MY hose is missing!.....but who's counting.

Gotta love em, though.

Ummmm, I guess I never posted the photos of JDG's garage. He has 23 (!) old Datsuns in there in various states of disrepair, plus a broken boat and I don't know much other junk.

hb, I don't think I've ever seen a Volvo convertable....gonna have to look that one up. I like Volvo's, though....I almost bought a Volvo last time, but ended up with a Saab.

Robin....that must be a huge garage! I could get past alot of flaws, but 23 Datsuns????

He lives on the grounds of a storage facility. In what used to be a heavy-equipment-repair business. The little waiting room in front is his living room (complete with cashier's window), and he has two little bathrooms across the hall from each other (men's and women's). And the upstairs hall overlooks the garage, so you can watch your car being worked on or something. It could be quirky and cool ... but it's not.
