Crisis over. I lost 3 pounds overnight....whew! I think I'll continue the 5&1 for a few days, though.....it just feels good and I'm so busy at work that it's easier than stopping to cook something or think about what to eat. I was so in the MF groove last night that I had my old stand by L&G - grilled chicken and green beans......yumma yumma. I will never get tired of that.

BTW, I skipped the olive snack yesterday.......so proud of me.

Jo, great that the 3# are already gone! :D

Baked chicken with green beans.......that was my L & G last night, too. My favorite L & G, so far, has been baked chicken cut up and put on lettuce, with some tomatoes and green pepper. Haven't tired of it yet and hope I never do. It tastes wonderful.

Glad to hear that those three pounds are now gone. It's also wonderful to continue to hear about your progress after reaching goal. Thank you for sharing.

Congrats, Jo! I get the feeling that we are all going to be MediFasters for life! (And that's a good thing!) :beerbeer:

Thanks girls. It's true. I'm finding it so easy to maintain my weight by just weighing every day and cutting back when I see an upward trend. I've only allowed myself a few pounds leeway, so things don't get out of control.

The amazing thing is that I'm not struggling! I'm not craving things that would make this part difficult. When a few pounds show up, I want to cut back, I don't feel rebelious or deprived. Believe me, that is not the old me! The old me would have seen those 4 pounds on Sunday morning and panic would have set in....then the old me would have avoided the scale for a few days thinking I could get a handle and then in a few days I would have checked again and seen a few more pounds. Then I would have gotten discouraged. I remember the feeling of helplessness so clearly. But with Medifast, I have a plan and it's working!

Is it just me, or did anyone else hear "We love you Conrad" from Bye-Bye Birdie when they read Biki's post? :-P

Jo - I think you have become a normal person with their weight. A girl I work with talks like you all the time and she has never been overweight. She has said that she weighs herself everyday and when she notices the scale goes up - she cuts back. She always says it's simple math or something to the like. I hope someday I am normal like you and her. Congrats on your continued success. :D

Suzy, That is the best compliment I've had in a long time! Thanks.

Biki, I miss you too, bibi. It's gone so fast. Before we know it, we'll be chattin' up a storm. I haven't gotten any HK pictures in a few days.....gotta check my junk mail. :x Yahoo is good at getting rid of spam, but come on!

Karli, I was like you. Maintenance was a big mystery land. But it has turned out to be a piece-a-cake so far. (pardon the pun)

Oh, your new name is Joleen. Kind of like the Dolly Parton song. (hhehehehe, kind of ironic given your small busom!) I just came up with it this morning!
