132.5

I do own it, but I just don't like this part, that's all. Unlike you, Lauren, my body image is pretty close to accurate, I think. For some reason, I've adjusted this time. I do have a tendency to never be quite satisfied with myself, though, and while I don't feel that way about my weight, I do about other things. Gotta work on that.

We got dumped on last night. I almost didn't make it home from work even though I only live 1 mile from my office! The roads were horrible. It was supposed to get colder overnight, so it'll be a mess this morning and more snow is expected. The bright side is that my DIL and the kids are here and can't leave, hehehehe.

134 this morning. I had a free lunch yesterday with a girlfriend. It was just ok until dessert and then it was very good. I had a small piece of punkin cheesecake. I don't know what it is about pumpkin, but it's my new chocolate except I'm not addicted to it. I've only had it 3 times since I hit my goal. When presented with a dessert bar, though, I choose pumpkin over chocolate! I amaze myself!

During my busy season, one of my coping tools is to buy stuff for myself. (are we surprised? hehe) This week, it was a new outfit from "Territory Ahead". It's a slim striped denim skirt and a white tee with an interesting neckline and 3/4 sleeves. Ordering online, I picked the size 8 at first. Then I thought....better look at the sizing charts. The chart said I need a size 6, but I was afraid of ordering it.....what if it doesn't fit and I have to send it back.....pain in the butt. Well, I bit the bullet and ordered the 6 with no confidence that it will fit. How wierd is that? The chart clearly pointed to the 6 and I wear a 6 most of the time in other things I've bought, but I haven't accepted it quite yet. When I try on the skirt and top, I'll have to pinch myself if it fits.

I've been doing some shopping myself online this morning. AFTER paying my credit card bills. They are having a great sale at Bloomingdales and I got a really cute charcoal grey pant and jacket set and red tshirt. The jacket has red fold up sleeves and the pants are knit so I should look cute in Hong Kong. I bought in size 1x! I also bought some silk zebra print pajamas because my husband usually gets lucky in hotels. My birthday is considered a holiday. It counts.

Jo, I hope the size 6 fits perfectly or is too big (even though it is a pain to send things back). ;)

134 today. Gonna take it easy for a few days and see if I can't make that 132. I feel better there.

I'm nursing my first cold in 3 or 4 years. I feel like a big baby and plan to curl up with my blankie soon.....you know, the furry one I got for Christmas (Pottery Barn).....love it love it love it.....makes me feel like I'm being hugged by a bear. It's a good day to snuggle up....it's snowing and blowing outside. Hubby is out chopping fire wood, so as soon as he gets home, he'll make a fire and we'll watch a movie. "The Departed" just came today. It's a movie we can watch together. We don't usually agree on movies. I'm a sappy movie girl and he doesn't like a movie unless it has alot of shooting, air fights, German soldiers....you get the picture.

I'll also work on my second pair of socks. I'm making a pair for my dear dil because she drooled over mine, hehe. She thinks I'm a little kookie for knitting socks, but she loves them and so do I. Maybe I'll get ambitious and post a picture, then you'll all see how very beautiful they are! Hey, maybe I'll even take Medi-orders for socks! No be slim club discounts, though.......$70 bucks a pair, lol!

Biki and I had a nice kawfee tawk this morning (and into the afternoon). I even worked while we talked today, so I can't blame her if my productivity stinks, hehe, eh biki?

Well, hubby came back with no fire wood. Seems he went out to the cabin and got the truck stuck in the snow and spent the last 2 hours digging out.

He's going out now to buy some firewood. That's a little hard to take when I know we have 80 acres of free wood, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do to keep his wife warm.

JO,
Hope you finally got WARM today, with your blankie and your $70 knit socks.
After all hubby went through to get you firewood, he's the one I feel sorry for!
