True. That's not quite the same, though. (But good point. If I can't be the first, I really don't want to do it at all. I wanted to be the first female Conservative rabbi when I was a kid. Till they started letting women be rabbis, then I didn't want to anymore. And later I wanted to be the first female secretary of state. But then we had one of those, too. All the good "firsts" are taken.)

If you're not leaving until Sept 15, I think Biki should be duty bound to hit her goal BEFORE you leave so there's no question about your attendance. It's only fair.

I just consulted Fitday. I would have to lose 4.08 lbs a week for that to happen. Wish it could happen but seriously doubt it. If I lose an average of 2.45 a week I will hit goal right before she gets back. Ain't gonna happen even if I do have to eat a jam sammich to stop it!~
