Good morning, bebes, just a day and a half late, hehe.
Just wanted to post that I haven't quit the c25k yet. I'm finishing up the 1st week tomorrow. Then on to week 2 on Thursday or Friday. Hmmmmm, will I stick it out this time? Too soon to tell, but the desire is there.
We're going shopping for a bike for me on Saturday. I found out that there are several "rails to trails" close by. Does everyone have those or is it just here where the railroads are a thing of the past? Anyway, we're gonna get me a new bike because my brakes squeak and we've had it worked on a few times and they still squeak and I just can't use a bike with squeaky brakes! And....my hubby has had 3 new bikes since I got mine....it's time.
The decorating saga continues at home. We spent hours and hours a week ago looking at fabric for the livingroom furniture. I had picked out what I love and thought we agreed on it. Then Mark said he didn't really love it and could we pick something else......well, three hours later, exhausted, we chose something that was a compromise for me and him. We placed the order and paid a huge amount down. Wellllllllllll, tonight on the way to dinner, the hubster says......"is it too late to change our minds? I think we should get what you picked in the first place" AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH. So a phone call to the fabric place. They told me that it's never too late as long as we're willing to pay the restock fee, so I'm going to the city on Saturday to reorder. At least I will love it......and really, it is the right fabric.
As soon as I find my camera charger, I'll take pictures of the new kitchen to post here. The charger is lost in a drawer somewhere with all the kitchen stuff that I haven't restocked.....it'll turn up someday. The kitchen turned out just as I planned it.....wouldn't change a thing!
On food.......it's going well. I've been sort of on a modified 5&1 lately, because I'm so busy, it works to just have suppies at work and then have dinner and pudding later. I'm retaining water, golly, seems to get worse with age. Can anyone who's gone through menopause tell me that it gets better? If not, I need to make a little visit to my Dr. This is not fun.
I'm sorry I can't post as much as I had been.....just so busy, but life is good, no complaints.
