As for knitting, I knitted lots of dish cloths one time while on an RV trip to keep my hands and mind busy, but that means 'work'.
No knit socks for me...too much concentration. "Krishner method"???
But I'd really love a pair, tho"!

When I made Christmas stockings with my knitting machine, I'd knit some waste yarn onto the toes and then weave the sock together, removing the waste yarn when the top & bottom of the toe were spliced together. Never knew a name for that, but it made a nice finish without a seam to rub on the toes. I'll keep searching for that term to see what it is.
