Your journey has truly been inspring. I am still following it so i can learn more about maintenance.
My husband and I are staying at the Rockhouse in Jamaica in October. It, too, is on the cliffs in Negril. Just wondering if you happened to see it??

Morning, Jo! Who's better than you?

Congrats on dropping the vacation weight, it's all about keeping a close eye on the pounds, keeping it in check!

I totally agree with everything you said about how good life looks to you right now. Isn't it just amazing? I am totally not the sappy type, but I feel like it's Snow White with butterflies and birds chirping! ha.

Okay, back to being the jaded New Yorker you all know me to be...

Cheers, babe!

Another beautiful day here in W PA! I love sun.....why is it that I live here instead of FL?

Speaking of FL, I just found out that I have to go back to Ft. Lauderdale for a QuickBooks conference. Woe is me, hehe. My choices were downtown Philadelphia or Ft. Lauderdale.....hmmmmm I pondered that for about a half a second. It's funny that it won't even cost much more to go to the one in Ft. Lauderdale. Airfare is only $204 for the round trip! It would cost almost that much in gas (exagerating a little) to go to Philly.

Sorry, Beth.....

Always! I must preserve what's left of my youthfulness. I've been using some fake stuff by L'oreal. It's just enough to get rid of the pastey white look and in the sun, it's just a little sparkly on my legs and arms. They have different stuff for the face without the sparkle.

I use some fake stuff called Dior Bronze with sparkles and the face tanner with no sparkle. I also use Dove Energy Glow-less streaking and much less expensive. I have found my husband dipping into my self-tanners. He said people at work had noticed his "glow". I also caught him using my Clarins facial scrub which is 30 bucks a tube. I told him he could just replace it since he likes it so much. I also use a body bronzer which is Sephora brand the few days after I self tan. I don't even know if they still make it but it is callled Super Sheen Bronzing mist and imparts a slight shimmer and light bronze tone. It is not a self-tanner, just a bronzer.

I have been using Estee Lauder for years. This winter Jergen moisturizer with tan has moved ahead in the shelf for tanners. It gives a nice even glow!
Jo, being a newby, I really, really look for success stories, and I always keep your story in my mind, Thanks,

I just checked and Sephora still offers the bronzing mist for after tanning or on its own.

Be careful. That store is dangerous! My husband only takes me in there when he has really pissed me off about something and wants to get in my good graces again. I do my own shopping there but usually online. Safer somewhat.

Thanks, holberry. I appreciate that.

BTW, Isn't it great that we've come so far from the days of streaked orange legsand tanned palms?

It took me one year, one month, and 15 days. Started October 15, 2005 and reached goal on December 1, 2006.
