The cad! Actually I did google him, man that man is still as sexy as he was the year I was born!!! 1965 SIGH Guess he spent too much time with Dolly, people get defensive about the whole nip tuck, me? I know my genetics, we get Nixon jowls and I will not. I figure I have about 5 more years, my brother went under at 45. My mom also at 55. I like who I am, but I can't girdle my face hahahaaha, so when the time comes, SNIP.

129 today! What's up with that? I haven't been in the 120's since I got married.....

Don't tell my husband, though. He'll freak out. I think I might eat a potato or something today, lol....maybe a piece of bread or .....hmmmmm, I dunno. Who would have ever thought I'd be trying to keep my weight up....sheeeez. I'm eating alot of food. I guess this is what happens when you eat healthy foods.

In a weak moment, I agreed to take a fun knitting class. We're making multicolored wool socks.....the class costs $70, but when I'm done, by golly, I'll have me a pair of socks! No one in the class except the instructor knows me. It occured to me while sitting in the circle.....These people don't know I was fat! It felt good to be normal there.....and actually the only one there at a healthy weight.

132 this morning. Doin' great!

I did one better, Biki. I had a dollop of mashed potatoes with a tiny bit of gravy......yummy.

What I actually ended up doing was to still eat my 6 meals as usual, but my L&G's weren't L&G's. I didnt' overeat, I just chose a few things that I wouldn't normally eat. I had a piece of meat loaf, the mashed potatoes, a tiny bit of stuffing, some corn, but not much. Then at dinner I had about 1/2 cup of rice with my fish and the fish had some sauce on it that I tasted, but scraped most of it off. Oh yeah, and at lunch I had a very small dessert from the dessert bar.

I'm actually surprised that my body recovered so fast.....3 pounds. But I know that I retain fluid when I have too much salt, so, I'm fine with it.

I had so much fun reading posts this morning that I really don't have enough time to journal. You people are just too entertaining!

Yay! JO had some taters! Don't worry about a little water weight, a little salt weight! I know you're doing great, I just wanted to make sure you know that I know...you know? It must be scary deciding what to add in and when, but you're doing it with such style and grace! You really are a great inspiration AND teacher!

131 today.

Spent yesterday looking at houses with my son and his wife. Exhausting, but fun. Then we ate at the Texas Road House. I had Salmon and a sweet potato.

Mark & I stayed at the cabin last night. Brrrrrr. We ran out of fire wood at 4:00am, so at 5:00 am, we threw on our coats and came home.

I finally tried the new MF eggs last week, and had some more today.....I can't believe how they are just like real eggs, both taste and texture!

Right now I'm drinking Bigelow Vanilla Caramel tea. I just discovered this tea and my new very very favorite tea.....Twinings Pepperment......OMG, it's like cheating!

I drink that tea too and with a little Splenda it feels like a cheat! It is so good. I have my husband hooked too and he is English so he usually only drinks straight "proper" British tea!

Have you tried both? Cuz they're both to die for.

Yes, but Vanilla Caramel is my favorite. I love peppermint tea but my mother always gave it to me when I had a stomach ache as a child so while being comforting and delicious, it will probably always seem a bit medicinal to me.

134 this morning, but Aunt Flo showed up last night and she is not kind. :x

Got up early this morning and got ready for work early.....crunch time is here. I'll be at work by 7:00. But ya know? January is almost over.....just 2 1/2 months left of this torture. No really, I'm trying to change my attitude about tax season. I mean, I was able to change it for Medifast and for some other things in my life that would just bore you all, so why not tax season. I'm going to see if I can just start thinking positively about it and trick my brain into believing that I enjoy working 70 hours/wk and going out in the cold weather at 6 in the morning and not getting home at night until 10:00 or 11:00. I'm gonna like it if it kills me!

My IBS was so bad I had to have one when I was 24 or so just to make sure nothing more serious was causing the symptoms. They have better technology now and don't have to use quite so much tubing....they knock you out on Demerol for it, so it's not painful, just rather undignified.

Jo,
I'm no stranger to 16-hour days either. But you're doing it for the greater good! You're helping people get organized and to fix their financial lives, I'm giving them TV to watch! You've got a noble job and this is the time when you work your heiney off (well, you already did that, but you know) and get PAID!

Get as much rest as you can and I know you will get through tax season with the same style and grace you got through the weight-loss portion of MF with!
