131 this morning.

Someone told me I was "tiny" yesterday. That's a first. I can't figure out why I do seem smaller at this weight than I was when I weighed 120. I have no butt and no boobs. And even though I have extra skin, I feel very lean. My hubby says I'm smaller than when we got married.....I weighed 117 on my wedding day, but I still had alot of baby fat. Oh well, I'm certainly not going to question it. I'm feeling great and fitting into size 6. Don't want to be any smaller than a size 6, though because it's harder to find clothes......and that's what life's all about, right? Buying new clothes!

I had an epiphany last night. I realized that with the added dairy, I can have one of my old favorites - a real cappuccino! Today I will make an espresso and froth that 1% milk and pour me a nice fluffy cappuccino.....and if I use 1/2 cup of milk in the first one, I can have 2!! Oh happy day.

Congrats on the tiny comment, Jo. That must have made you feel good.
You are definitly an inspiration...and my goal is a size six too. And you are absolutly right....shopping is what it is ALL about!!!

A few questions for you...do you feel "real" food tastes better now that you have done the MF program? How does it differ? Do you find youself content with the things you are eating now?

Taan,

I really haven't been that impressed with the food I've added. I mean, the fruit tastes good, but I don't enjoy it any more than my oatmeal or my bars or my Medifast pudding. I am lucky in that I really love the MF supplements and have never had even one craving. The difference is that now I have to think about what I'm going to eat instead of just grabbing a packet or bar.....it's kind of a drag, lol.

So far, I am very content with what I'm eating now and wonder how I'll adjust to the next step. I was expecting to get hungry or at least start craving stuff when I left ketosis, but that hasn't happened. I'm spacing my meals out just as I did while on Medifast. I think that's even more important now that I don't have ketosis to help me.

PS: I forgot to have my cappuccino! That's how much I care about food!

In the mornings I mix a vanilla shake, some coffee and a little water in my food processor and get a yummy FROTHY beverage.

I've done that, too, but somehow it's just not the same. I don't use sweetner in my cappuccino and the vanilla shake makes it sweet.

I used to prefer lattes with SF Vanilla syrup so it's just fine for me.

132 Today.

I changed my home page to Google and they have a weight tracker that's pretty cool. I can see my trend every time I open explorer. It's called The Google 15. You can enter your goal weight and it alerts you when you are moving away from it.

We went out to dinner last night and I put a beets on my salad.....just a couple, but mmmmm good. I know, I know, they're just beets, but I haven't had a beet for over a year! Ahhhhh small pleasures.

Having sleep issues again. I'm such a creature of habit that if I wake up at 3:00 one night, it's every night until I finally sleep through it days and days later. It only happens when I have a problem that needs to be thought through. Right now, it's work related....nothing earth shattering.....but my mind starts working before I can stop it and before I know it, I'm wide awake. At least I'll be able to nap today if I want.

130 this morning. Looks like I'll be able to have a piece of pie with my New Years kraut and pork dinner. My husband would have a fit if he knew I was 5 pounds under goal. Not that I'm gonna try to gain. I just think my body will level out where it wants to be and poppy doesn't need to know every last detail, hehehe.

Today we go to the cabin. I love going there....no phones. Well, no heat either, so Mark has to go out ahead and warm it up for me. One of the side effects of being thin is that there's no meat to keep me warm and I'm pretty much freezing most of the time. But after the cabin is warmed up, it's so cozy. I'll take a good book....do some reading....a little cooking. Ahhhhhh, no obligations for 2 days.

BTW, speaking of being cold all the time, my son and his wife got me the very warmest throw for Christmas. It's from Pottery Barn and it has fur on one side and microfiber (so soft) on the other. I can wrap it the whole way around me......it feels like I'm getting a hug from my kids.....soooooo warm!
