Paper Bags are recyclable

They are also biodegradable
Can you imagine getting caught in the rain with one?
:roflmao:

Come to think of it, I'd go with the plastic bag if I were you, Mary.

Good for me that you aren't! 8) :roflmao:

Just trying to help you save money.

If you were me, you would carry a Coach bag. And you would have several other choices in your closet, depending on mood, outfit, season, etc........all necessary.

Thanks for trying to be helpful, Jo, but I don't need to save money --- and I probably have more choices of handbags than I do need!
Hence, less is more. It's a philosophy not based upon financial ability but rather on financial responsibility and the desire to be a good steward of God's many blessings in my life. :D

Actually the use wasn't for me.......I'm just sayin.

Thanks, I'm still going strong as a matter of fact. Hubbie is trying to entice me to a dinner out.....I told him if I hit the wall within the hour we would still have time to go.

Well, no dinner out last night. I didn't hit the wall until a little after 7. It's funny how I can be working along, feeling fine one minute and the next, with a snap of the finger, be completely whipped. I go from full speed ahead to Ineedtobeinmyjammiesandinmybedrightnowwww that fast.

I can do those marathon days 2 or 3 days a week and try not to do 2 in a row. Today will be a 10 hour day, with knitting club after.

Don't feel too sorry for me, kiddies, really! I work hard for a few months, true, but last year we took 8 vacations. I can remember when we were young and planning our future. My husband chose his profession with this in mind. Work hard during the busy season, but take time to enjoy the rest of the year. It's only been since our kids were done with college that we could actually cash in on that plan, but we're making up for the lost time, hehe. No complaints here.

Eating: It's working so well for me to steer clear of the sweets. My weight is staying steady because literally everything I put into my mouth is healthy. I can see a change in my whole outlook about food, too. I find myself NOT thinking about food so much. That is such a good thing. You could say the payoff is sweet!

I have a question. Obviously you are going to be dependent on MF for the rest of your life. Are you ok with that? Couldn't you do Weight Watchers maintenance? Or would you not be able to control your eating? I'm just curious.

I wouldn't say I'm dependent on MF. I just like the supplements, so I use them. I have been away and not used them at all for days. I don't seem to have a problem controling my eating except with refined sugar. I don't like the feeling of losing control, so I'm not eating sweets.

I don't know anything about weight watchers maintenance plan, but I have no interest in finding out because I'm comfortable with what I do now.

Whether or not you use supplements in maintenance is your own choice. A good maintenance plan will be a variety of foods and snacks. We all find what works for us.

Like my daddy always used to say: If it's ain't broke, don't fix it.
