Oh heavens! Is this where I admit that I have the inexpensive cookware that I received for a wedding gift (Revereware with copper bottoms) but I wish I did have some nice cookware that wouldn't scorch my foods so easily and without the copper bottoms that always look so messy.

I'd love to have better cookware as I have always heard that a person should use the best 'tools' they can afford so that you can do the best job possible. (I know this to be true in my other hobbies). I just never knew what was the minimum of what would work would be and could not afford to invest a lot into cookware.

Now handbags.......I love buttery soft leather handbags and am always trying to find the 'perfect' black bag. I have quite a few in my quest for the right one.....size, comfort, functunality (word?) and looks. I think I'm still searching and will be until the day I die... Right now my favorite is a Coach sachel (bought used---I'm too cheap to buy new Coach when I am so fickle about what I want).

If you carry a handbag, just think how much money you're wasting when a plastic grocery bag or better yet, a paper sack would do the job and you would be doing your part for the environment by recycling. I'm just sayin'.

:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

Jo, of course good cookware has merit; I doubt anyone needed convincing of that! :D Sorry you felt it was a waste of time and energy because I'm sure your input was valued. I was just "funnin'" with you as I'm sure you were about the plastic grocery bag serving as a purse (wouldn't that be a sight?) and the cauldron from Goodwill! (Very funny BTW  ) However, wouldn't you agree that the "most expensive" is not necessarily the "best" since one is objective and the other subjective? I'm just sayin'. 8)

Now handbags ... I appreciate leather and since I have an entirely new wardrobe (Yay MediFast!) I've added to my accessory wardrobe as well. I don't own a "designer" bag (I'm sure you're not surprised) and wouldn't recognize one if my life depended on it.

Come to think of it, I'd go with the plastic bag if I were you, Mary.

Just trying to help you save money.

If you were me, you would carry a Coach bag. And you would have several other choices in your closet, depending on mood, outfit, season, etc........all necessary.

Hi Pam,

It's a work marathon day here. I got to work at 5:30 and plan to stay until 8:00 or 9:00 depending on when I crash.

Hi Jo...
Sorry to hear about your long day...Can I ask you a quick question?

I had my first shake at 6:30 am and did not have my second one until 10:30 (was in 2 meetings back to back).

Should I have the next one at 12:30???

I posted this question in my journal too, as I don't want to mess up my day !

Thanks !

That's your call, Pam. If it was me, I would probably wait out the 3 hours and just continue the day.
