Congratulations Jo on your one year maintaining anniversary!

Thank you so very much for sharing your journey online and with photos along the way.......that sharing and those photos were so inspiring to me in February that I felt I, too, could do Medifast and lose my extra weight. I appreciate your willingness to document your life before Medifast, your compliance during the program and with sharing the photos to underscore the transformation. I appreciate your willingness to continue to share on the MakeMeThinner forums, that you encourage, support and also are willing to give a verbal nudge to those of us that need one, to get back to the basics. Sometimes we need 'tough-love and straight talk' instead of getting to hear 'it is okay to go off program or to tweak it to fit what you want to do'....

Thank you for being here.

What she said! When I started Medifast you took me under your wing and I certainly needed someone to do that. I was a MESS! Literally certifiably bonkers, just released from the nuthouse and detoxing from alcohol and drugs, but some how you got through to me. I am still a little messy around the edges but over 90 pounds later I know I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you.

Wow, girls! You started the party without me, hehe. I was in Pittsburgh all day at my grandson's 1st birthday party and almost forgot all about it being my 1st as well. Thanks for remembering and thanks for the kind words. I can't say it's been the easiest year of my life, but it has been one of the most rewarding.

Lightbulb literally goes bling over my head! The word Medifast pops into my head. No, I can't do that.....I'll just gain it all back......but I need something! I'm desparate!.....Maybe I'll just try it to get things started....Yeah, that's what I'll do.....maybe 2 months.

I can really relate to the lightbulb minute. November 21 I had no idea I was going to start Medifast again on November 22. I just woke up sick and tired of being sick and tired and had some old expired MF stuff around but enough to last me a few weeks to see if I could stick with it. Well, with all the support I got on this board I did stick with it and even ordered new food! The rest is history.....

If I can't tuck my shirts in when I weigh 137, I'm gonna freak out! Right now I have a midriff thing going on, but I was sort of hoping that would shrink at least enough for tucking......Are you sure you can't yet? Oh man!

I weigh less than that and can't tuck in my shirts. Still have a little residual beer belly.

May not be perfect, but I can tuck. 8)
Also got myself some Spanx and that helps the residual! :-P
My lightbulb minute: When I realized that my 60th wedding anniversary was coming up and I was going to look and feel like a slob if I didn't take action...
Didn't let it happen! YAY!

!

Oh, I can tuck with the Spanx! They make me bullet proof! In my modeling pictures I was wearing Spanx and didn't have a belly. I just wish I could put on a pair of jeans and a snug tshirt or sweater and not worry about my belly without wearing special foundation garments. I just hope with continued aerobic exercise I will have less fat around my middle. That year of a case of beer a day is still showing...and it was Coors Light !

It turns out that it's too early for me these days too. I had to go back to bed! And don't worry....controversy is never too far away. I am sure that any day now someone will start eating a Burger King double stack with bacon as part of their L&G and need your special brand of help.

Morning, Jo and Biks -

I'd prefer to call it feedback. Has a more positive spin on it, don't ya think?

:-)

Hope you both had a great weekend!

As long as you had two slices of cheese I would say absolutely!
