Nice work!! :D I will need some of that resolve in the future! Maybe I can pay you in tiaras or other sparkly things in trade? Or... Pottery Barn gift certificates?

Way to go!

Thanks girls.

I think I'll stay on program for a little longer to get firmly entrenched in my comfort zone.

I keep forgetting to post about a good book I read. "Bitter is the New Black" by Jen Lancaster. I loved this book! It's a memoir about her rise and fall and rise again. It starts with her as a successful, yep rich, marketing exec who gets layed off right after 911 and has to adjust her lifestyle to survive. It's quite funny and moving at the same time. Jen Lancaster has written another book that I'm buying and she has a blog, too.

I've read it. Hit a little too close to home for me in terms of her materialism and "must haves" that really weren't.

That's for sure, same here. The touching part for me was how she became human through the process and came back down to earth.

Yeah. I'm glad you brought up that book. I really don't need to get my hair done this month. I am growing it out and it looks okay. But the nails are a must, mostly because of you! I decided to start getting mine done like yours so I have to have a fill! A manicure I could skip!

Well, the nails weren't a necessity for me until I could afford them, so at least I can justify it that way. I guess I could say that about alot of things, though.

Jo, our little boy is back! :-) How psyched were you to see Hype - I feel like we're having a reunion, and it's only a month earlier than when we all met 2 years ago!

I am so happy for you in passing "the test." It's amazing how we still get tested, isn't it? This was a huge one, Jo, a really big moment in making a decision that you are not going to be the person you were, and you're not going to let the old Jo win. I totally get how big that one decision was, bc it could truly have been the start of a downward spiral, or the moment of clarity that you truly are choosing your wellness and thinness over the alternative. Well done. I think it's awesome!

Yeah, it's old home week! Problem is, you young things just look better and better and I just keep getting more wrinkles, hehe.

Hey, maybe you and I should spike our hair and we could have a family pic!

Jo, you look fantastic, non of this self-deprecating crap! :-)

Oh, and if I could get this uber-fine hair of mine to spike, I'd be in on the pic in a heartbeat!

During my walk tonight I realized something! Yesterday marked the 2 year mark for me......2 years ago yesterday I began to change my life. Two years ago, I drank my first shake. Well, let me tell ya......alot can happen in 2 years, folks. I can not believe I didn't think of this yesterday. I've been so busy looking forward to my 1 year maintenance anniversary that I forgot. Oh well, better late than never.
