Another quick question if you don't mind...

Can you have Diet Snapple? It has no calories, no carbs, no sugar....But it has 11 grams of sodium....

Yes. Diet sodas often have a bit of sodium in them too. I limit myself to one a day but I am sure some people drink more and do well. That is just my little thing. Sorry for the hijack, Joleen!

I knew something was up when my nose wouldn't stop itching, hehe.

I haven't been here the longest. I would say that aside from the obvious, Nancy, Jan, Unca, Terry(who almost NEVER posts!!!!), Robin has been here the longest. If I'm forgetting someone, do chime in.

Lauren and I started at about the same time. When we first started, there were literally just 4 or 5 posting regularly and maybe 10-15 posts total per day. It was quite slow....but something made me stay. I can give that credit to Nancy (ty TY TYYYYYY, Nancy) There were busier times before that, but I joined during quite a lull.....the pre holiday binge period, lol.

So many have come and gone, but once in awhile a jem sticks, that's how we got bebes.

Just a quick note to one who was there with us and who doesn't post anymore: HYPE! You're allowed to say hello once in awhile!

I've got the family coming to my house for a BBQ later, so toodles. Have a good holiday!

BBQ went well. Lot's of good stuff and I was able to keep busy and stay avoid snacking.

Yesterday, we did a "rails to trails" ride on our bikes. It was really nice. I rode for an hour. It was nice for us because I could ride as long as I wanted to and the hubster could go on ahead to finish his. He's hard core, but he stayed back with me until I was ready to turn around. I think I rode about 8 1/2 miles, he went 16. Next time I think we'll start south of where we started, ride about 8 miles north, have lunch and ride 8 miles south.

Good Morning Jo,
I had a great day off too, and actually played a little croquet ! My parents have an old set, so we set it up and played for awhile...I'm not trying to do too much excercise right now, as I thought I'd wait one more week then start walking...

Have a great day !

Glad you had a good holiday Jo! I'm wanting to ride a bike and my daughter doesn't use hers anymore so I thought I would hijack it. What is "rails to trails?" I wonder if you can buy larger seats........sure would be more comfortable.

"Rails to Trails" is the reclaimation of abandoned railroads to bike trails. They're all over here in the north east. They make really nice bike trails because they're relatively remote and flat b/c trains don't go uphill well. Very scenic, too.

Thanks girls.

I was at a conference all day yesterday. I learned a few things I didn't know about Estates and trusts, but had to sit through alot of blah blah blah to get there. They tortured us because the conference was at a country club and we sat in this big cold room with huge windows looking over a beautiful golf course. So we sat there listening to the instructor drone on while we watch the privileged play. It was just cruel.
