Oh, Boy!
My fave French Vanilla Berry Oatmeal is on sale!
Regularly priced $13.95 a box, while supplies last you can purchase it for
$11.25 per box of 7 packets.
Dr. Andersen suggests that we start our day right with a bowl of nutritious Medifast oatmeal – it is low in sugar and packed with all 24 essential vitamins and minerals.
The Medifast oatmeal is
approved for people with diabetes.
I make my oatmeal right in my shaker jar. I fill my jar with 8 ounces of cold water, rip off the top of the packet, dump it in and stir it up. Nuke for 1 minute, stir and heat some more – not to a boil! I can then drink my oatmeal while I am getting cute for the day.
For some, the
French Vanilla Berry oatmeal
tastes good with a bit of Vanilla extract or a packet of Splenda. Each packet has about a dozen freeze dried
blueberries and if you let your oatmeal sit and rest for a few minutes after nuking it, the
berries plump up and come back to life. I often have a shaker jarful at
bedtime, too. Nummy!

When I started the weight loss phase, I drank Dutch Choc and
Orange Pineapple shakes only.
In fact, for the first three months I drank mostly the
OPs. For some reason, I have a really sensitive sense of smell and unless something smells good, I don’t want it. Now I realize that we all have differing definitions of what smells good and what smells
skunky…but that OP made me think of Kauai and to me, that smells good! It meant the smell of my first goal – to lose as much weight as possible in the three months before we went to Kauai for a family vacation. I lost 59 pounds
slurping mostly
Orange Pineapple shakes – wow!
I mixed all my shakes in the blender until they were very creamy and fluffy. Then I added 1 ½ cups of crushed ice to make them very icy cold and thick, like a frosty. I added a snort of peppermint extract to the Dutch Choc and to the
Orange Pineapple I just added my lips – I loved that stuff!
