To go into a Mexican Restaurant and eat all the crispy chips and salsa that I can hold like I used to do.
Now, we do go to a great Mexican Restaurant, I don't let the chips pass my lips, but I order 2 crisp chicken tacos ala carte with Salsa and enjoy them very much.

Pizza is another obsession. I take care of that craving by buying Lean Pockets Pizza Ullta Wheat (220 Cals) and have it for my L&G lunch often with added veggies. Satisfies the cravings.

So far no weight gain on these. This is all on Maintenance, you understand, but you asked...

Swedish fish are a gummy candy. They are shaped like a fish,I think they are cherry flavored.

I had never herd of them till we moved to New England. We did not have anything like that in Michigan.

I guess that's okay. My father used to eat pickled pig's feet. But I never tried them.

Ohhh,
I'm sooo happy to find out that "Swedish fish" are candies. :D :D I am Swedish you know and I thought you all were talking about that horrible Lutefisk stuff ( I don't even know how to spell it for sure-- but you get the idea)
We had to make it in the garage .. it smelled up the entire house otherwise and we kids refused to even try it.... candy .. hmmm no problem :D Of course we'll have to stay out of it now ... but much better than the "other Swedish fish"

Lutefisk (spelling is right) is also very common among Norwegian-Americans. I lived in North Dakota some years back, and the "religious" definition of lutefisk was "the piece of cod which passes all understanding" - you sorta have to be a Lutheran to get it  -
but seriously - I don't understand how anyone could eat fish that's been soaked in lye!

Mexican food is my biggest weakness and I told my husband that I have to eat some this weekend before my medifast is delivered. Also, last summer I started eating chocolate ice cream with Cocoa Krispies on top; it was sooo good.

Isn't lye toxic? Doesn't it eat holes in things? Or am I thinking of something else (I hope)?

Anyway - been avoiding this thread but finally felt strong enough to check it out - proud to say that nothing has sparked a craving in me. Maybe it was the talk of lye....

My obsession lately has been Goldfish crackers, as you will hear a lot of mention of them in my journal - but it seems when I have cravings I just want SOMETHING utterly terrible for you in general, I don't usually care what it is specifically. I suppose that proves I'm an emotional eater.

I've been thinking about fruit, applesauce, and yogurt lately, though. Things I will definitely enjoy having again, and not the overly-sweetened kinds either, just sugar-free or something like that. I wonder if I will find sweet things too sweet, like the poster who wrote about M&Ms said.

Thinking about holiday eating (November/December) all of a sudden as I type this - wondering if I should go off for one meal but try to be reasonable - then just as I was typing THAT, I realized I could easily find a L&G around the holidays so why mess with it? Silly me.
