I finally moved to weighing every COUPLE of days..........first thing in the AM after I pee (sorry graphic) So far that has made me LESS crazy about it, everyday was drivng me CRAZY.

I so want to be one that weighs ONCE A WEEK! :mrgreen:
Start Date: September 17, 2006!!!!

DH also on MF, Kids Are 12 and 10 - and of course OAKLEY the dog :-)

My husband took my scale away also and hid it.

Funny thing Robin, when I saw my Doctor and nutritionist, they told me of a recent study that showed that people who step on a scale once a month vs. every day show a higher rate of long term weight loss. hahaha, proves that in this day and age, you can really find a study to support whatever you may want to believe.

I personally believe that is a person to person issue. For those of us who ate because of emotion, I believe the scale can be a trigger to make us want to eat if it moves in the wrong direction. For those that eat for some other reasons, maybe the scale does not make any difference....

Isn't this a grand world where we are all so different, and isn't this a great forum because there are people on here with totally different ways of dieting, of handling stress, of handling everything....
Including that nasty old scale.....

Cheers to all of us..... :cheers: for doing whatever gets us to where we want to be....

My name is Terri, and I am a recovering scale-oholic, (only because my dh has taken BOTH scales and hidden them, otherwise I would be raging instead of recovering)

I scored an 8, and again, only because I have no scale to step on. There is a dentist upstairs in my office building and I have thought about running up and asking them if I could use their scale... but I DIDN'T.....

you totally crack me up Wild.......
