scale not moving

Postby disney..lover » March 3rd, 2006, 11:03 am

I am in my third week, I lost 14 pounds in the first two, and now thr
scale is not moving.
I have been on the same weight since monday, and i am going to have a
melt down if tha scale does not move.

I believe that for the amount of calories i am consuming i should not
plateau, and i have like 50 more pounds to loose.
I am feeling very discourage, i do not know what to do,
Yesterday i even did full fast to see if maybe with one day doing it
my body would shake up, but nothing.
I am drinking 12 glasses of plain water plus 4 or 5 more of crystal
light.
Please give advice i really need it

Hi Disney..Lover,

You lost 14 POUNDS in two weeks. I have been on many, many diets and 14 pounds is a great accomplishment that you probably wouldn't achieve elsewhere. Keep on doing what you're doing and it will start to come off soon. You have to since MF is such a low calorie diet.

You can do this. Stay off the scale. Women's weight changes daily, so why stress yourself. Pick once a week at the same time of day to do your weigh in and after that stay off until the following week.

A lot of people notice a slow down or stop in weight loss around weeks 3 or 4. Your body needs to take a breather so to speak and process what is happoning to it. This is NORMAL Try not to stress about it, I lost nothing last week too, but just keep up with things, you are doing an amazing job. The scale will move, have faith!

Hey there Disney Lover...yep that peskey scale can really mess with our heads! I hit a plateau for a little over a week around the 4th week. It was VERY frustrating. Now the scale is moving again at a nice pace. I know Falisamarie told me once that she got on the scale on a Friday and was disappointed too, then on Sunday WOOOSH...4 pounds (I think)! Hang in there sweety....don't let the rotten old scale be your measure of success!! You're doing great!!

DisneyLover, you have lost 14 pounds! :goteam: That's AWESOME! I've been MF since 01/18/06 & I've only lost 11 lbs. Pat yourself on the back! Your body needs to adjust. Good job.

Hi there!

Everyone gave good advice! It's the toughest part, getting stuck.
But, you know you're doing the right thing and it will come off.

I'm still slowing down and have been stuck, but I did a few things and the inches ARE coming off.

Measure yourself!! You're losing inches even when the scale doesn't move.

I added exercise REGULARLY, I'm having 3 shakes a day & my other two MF supplements, even MORE water and NO bars. At least for now.

It's sure helped me and it's worth a shot! Good Luck to you!
