Well, I was having "sandbox" issues as Nancy calls them and read where someone used Fiber One chewables. So I got myself to the old Walgreen's pharmacy and picked me up a bottle. So this is the second day I've taken the 2 required tablets and it did help....however, I am sooooo gassy :oops:

Please someone who is using these tell me that this will pass (no pun intended :shock:

)

I wish I could help but haven't had that problem. This place is so great, I know there will be others who will help ya out. But, thanks for the smile. It reminds us we all all in the same struggle and are all human.

There is actually alot of info about the sandbox on this board. do a search for constipation, flax or psyllium and you will find it

I use the Fiber Choice Orange Sugar Free Chewables and have had no problems with gas. They have worked great for me.

Me too and it's helped quite a bit. I like the mixed fruit flavors and chew up 6-8 a day. I know that it's above the recommended dosage but My MD told me that considering the MF plan, I can use all the fiber I can get.

Thanks for the Diet Coke up my nose!!! Anyhoo, I use Konsyl, it's 100% psyllium. I mix 2 teaspoons a day into my water. Although I don't use the sandbox as many times a week as I did pre-MF, I am not regular and comfy. I also like it because it has zero net carbs. It's not the world's yummiest (I kind of miss the citrucel!), but it gets the job done...

Good luck with that! Isn't the forum the greatest! In the past, how could people get answers to THESE questions. Gotta go (literally),

Sorry DeDe about the Diet Coke :grin:

The bottle says that if you experience gassiness to cut back on the dosage; so I may drop to one tablet. It is not BAD but it can be a tad embarassing when you here the grumbling in the southern regions and you aren't sure if it will stay "contained"! :shock:

Small price to pay for thinnyville! :yes:
