I have found a good substitute for the medifast ready to drink - they cost a good bit less and are more convenient because you can pick them up at Walmart (7.97 fo 6) . . . AdvantEdge Carb Control shakes

100 calories

3 grams fat

5 carbs

15g protein

I bought some and we will see how they taste!

Hello Guest, I would have to say that I don't think someone should substitute these shakes on the program as they do not have all of the same vitamins and minerals as the MF shakes. Also, the MF shakes are formulated within specific nutritional guidelines so that they work with the program. Any modification such as using some completely different shake may mess both a person's daily nutrition and subsequent weight loss.

They may cost a little more, but we're doing MediFast because their program works for us. Substituting our supplements with something else is creating a new program which is not Medifast.

Ditto. I would rather spend more money and know I am on the plan correctly.
