Steph - I think the dress is a 16, but probably miss-marked since others in the similar style in 16's didn't fit. I don't care though, I feel great in it!

Katie - Thanks! Now that I am back on plan I can allow myself to "feel" like a role model instead of a hippocrate.

AQ - Thanks to you to. Having someone following me makes me even more determined to stay on plan and make my goal. I would feel awful to be the one that messed up someone else's journey just because I couldn't get my act together.

Good morning sugah! I'm taking a break from shampooing my carpets. Gotta have the house in order before you get here. It feels like a Friday here. What's on your schedule for the day? OK, breaks over.

Man - 2 "cutes" and an "adorable" -- geez I could get used to this. Thanks so much! That glow is from the peace I am feeling right now. With so many things going on in my life esp. the loss of Alicia, one would think I would ready to crack. I thought so too a until recently. I keep "preaching" to everyone else to take control of what they can control and let the other stuff take care of itself. As soon as I took my own "medicine" I realized that there is wisdom in those words.!

No need to clean house on my account. I am not coming to inspect your carpets! ;) WOW - I just looked at the calendar - only 11 more days not counting today! :woohoo: I am soooooo stoked! I do have to admit that some of the size 16's are not going to be anywhere near fitting me for the trip so I am going to exchange them for 18's. Not to worry though because they are an easy pattern to take in when I need to.

As for my plans today, I still have some quilts to work on and I still have to get my work out in. That will keep me busy for a while. A few ladies from the church and I are also working on passing around Alicia's website that is dedicated to funding for the American Cancer Society. We would like to raise money in her memory since she and the family requested that in leiu of flowers.

I will be changing the www information for my homepage in my signature so that anyone who wants to know more about Alicia and her desire to end cancer can click on it.

Yea - Sojo, what Wilson said! I do have clavicles - WOW!

I think you are right about a competition on our hands. You might just close in on me, but I am not worried. I may hear you speaking to me, but I haven't gone completely overboard yet.

OH - and by the way, I am going to be walking in a Relay For Life event in April in memory of my dear friend. Alicia Dupler. Anyone who might be interested in sponsoring me, making a donation in memory or in honor of someone or just pitching in to help raise funds for cancer research can PM me for the link to my page on the American Cancer Society's website.
Thanks.

Well, since the website address for my Relay for Life webpage doesn't work in my profile I put the link to my blog back there. I haven't visited the blog lately, I guess because I have been spending time here. The blog isn't totally "personal", but I can say things there that I won't here because I don't want to start up the negativity again. Beside - here is more about TSFL and related things, not so much about the millions of other aspects of my life.

Just to get it in writing, I actually got in more than half my body weight number in ounces of water today - 125 ounces of water. I so feel like I am going to float away. I also did the workout that I put together for myself that doesn't involve my ankle in any way. It isn't anything that someone would put on a video for the public, but it gets my heart pumping and blood flowing. It must be doing something good too because I can feel it the next day in my muscles. Besides that something has to account for those inches lost without any movment on the scale - I am thinking lean muscle taking the place of flabby fat. That works for me!

Now that I am in Day 4 of 100% compliance (and I do mean 100%), my longest run since before surgery, I should be in the MediZone by now (or soon). I am hoping to get back into that pound a day average I had pre-surgery! That would be soooooo cool. We shall see.

Wow, Brenda, you look great! That smile really does say it all!
Okay, so I've restarted and am currently in the MediZone, myself.
It's just loverly here, isn't it? Simply loverly.

Speaking of lovely...I'm very sorry, Brenda, that you've lost such a
dear friend, and am very touched that you've chosen to honor her in
such a meaningful and effortful manner. You're not just talking the talk,
you're really walking the walk  But, seriously, that's very cool.
Here's to a speedy recovery for your ankle and a cool breeze on the day of the walk!
