Hey sweetpea! I sent you an email-don't want to make you read the same stuff twice.

Been thinking about you!

Hi Brenda,
I'm just getting caught up after not being able to read and post for awhile...Remember to be true to yourself and take things one day at a time. Life is funny that way, to make sure we don't get more in a 24 hour time period than we can handle...

Love and prayers to you...

How sweet of you to check Chynna - nobody has ever done that before, I am flattered. All seems to be going OK, though mostly in shades of grey right now. I am trying to get some sewing done before my surgery on Friday. Since I have enough fabric to start a fabric store and no money for gifts, I am hoping to make everyone's Christmas gift this year. Now, I just need to get them all done before Friday now.

Since I have been doing my chores and firewood with more ferver than last week, my fibro is calming down. I really do have to keep moving to keep it in check. The depressive part of the borderline is subsiding as well since I am back on track with my meds.

As for MF I am starting a transition to prepare for my surgery. Upon the advise of my HA and DR A, I will transition to the day of surgery then maintain for a couple of days or until I feel my energy level is "normal" then I will kinda "reverse transition" back on to the 5 & 1. Since I am ready for a break from the 5 & 1 this is coming at just the right time for me.

Thanks again for checking in.

The pleasure was mine to check up on'ya girl:+)) Seems like you're getting everything in order very nicely too. I'm saying a prayer that your surgery this Friday will be successful and that you will have a full recovery...and take your time about restarting the 5&1, it'll be there when you're you ready:+)

Boy, wish i could sew like you!

Good luck to you sweetie.

Hi Brenda -

Just wanted to stop by and say Hi...I am so impressed by your success and dedication and wanted to tell you how great you are doing!

My father suffered from something very similar though that was 30 yrs ago and not much available to him. Many  and good wishes your way!

Take care.

I am glad you have a plan all figured out. I am also so glad your depression seems to be lifting. I'll be thinking about you this week and hope the surgery and recovery go well.

Thank you sweet friends. Your well wishes are appreciated and your prayers are being heard! God is comforting me during this time and I feel I am right where I need to be doing what I need to be doing.

This transition thing sucks though! I haven't felt hungry since September because of my good friend ketosis. Now I am actually FEELING hunger and I DON'T LIKE IT! Is this typical or am I doing something wrong?

Blessings to all of you!

It's typical, or was my experience anyway. You just have to take what you learned from MF-small meals every 2-3 hours.

Ugh! I have already had one shake at 7am and 32 or more oz of water this morning! I suppose I will head out to the barn and get my "workout" in which usually makes me forget the hungries. By the time I am done in there it will be time for another meal. I am thinking I will have a couple of poached eggs and some kind of veggie and consider it part of my lean and green. Maybe some substance will ease the "pain".

Thanks for lettine me know I am on track with what you experienced Biki - it makes me feel better to know I am not completely "off". though I can't say being the same as you is actually normal ;)

I tried out my new Curves "wraps" that came from Avon today while I was out in the barn anb bringing in the firewood. One is for the waist and the other is for the thighs. They are supposed to help you shed excess water and "trim" those specific areas. Obviously, I won't know about the "trimming" for a while, but I can say they certainly did draw out the sweat. I spent 2 hours outside with chores, then came in and had my poached eggs. The eggs helped and I am only now feeling hungry and it has been about 2 1/2 hours so I am ok with that.

Gotta do some stuff in town then come home and start sewing again. BTW, Chynna - thanks for your compliments on my sewing and Patty - thank you for stopping by to say Hi and your kind words about my journey.

A few kind folks have asked for my snail mail address and other information. Don't worry - I won't post it here for all to see, but I can tell you that Bikipatra, lifelovinairies and Aquariansky all have my permission to pass it along to all "regular members". Obviously not to someone they don't recognize.
