You're right, whats done is done!

Good for you being back on track. I know what you mean about the urges to eat not being about hunger.

What Mickie said, what's done is done. I'm glad you're back on track tho. Time to buckle down or should you just mail me your $$? I'm still going to win that contest!

Yea well, Skye, you better not count those chickens before they hatch there !! You know how we talked about our bodies getting that kick start after a break. Now, since I am back on track AND back in PT getting some exercise I will be melting away again. Oh, by the way, since I tried that Smart Water while I was down there, I am actually getting in about 200 ounces a day *YES* that is right 200 ounces. So plthz :-P !

I got to spend some more time in the barn again today. It feels so good to be back out there. Even though I still can't do much of anything, I can still brush the horses and give them their peppermints.

I got a terrible sun burn in TX and it is still giving me problems. The entire burn area on my back and chest is now broken out in sores. Baiscally, every blister I got from the burn is a little bloody sore. :x It is painful and itchy at the same time. If it isn't better, I think I am going to have to see my doctor on Monday. I am fair skinned and I get sunburns ALL THE TIME. The fact that this one is so completely different from anything I have dealt with before concerns me.

So -- all you folks that wanted me to bring the sun up north from Texas - I guess, in a way, you can say that I did.

Today is a beautiful, sunny day so I am hoping to go for a walk. It won't be a long one - just 10 minutes or so, because that is all the doctor and physical therapist want me to do right now. Mom has a huge ham in the oven that is filling the house with an amazing scent and making my tummy grumble. I suppose I will try to stay down stairs and work on some stuff that I need to get done on the computer to stay away from the kitchen.

Happy Easter to everyone!! Blessings and love to all!

Ouch! That sunburn sounds terrible. Be careful of infection. My husband is very fair skinned, we slather him in 40 sunblock anytime he is outside.

That's great that you are able to get in some exercise now. You are probably feeling a little impatient but building up slowly is best for recovery. At least it is nice to get outside on such a beautiful day. :D

I did well yesterday and stayed on plan. Today was a good day too. Now that I feel like I am in the Zone things are a little easier. I still have those cravings that I didn't have to deal with the first time around and I can't figure that out, but I will just have to deal with it.

I am being very cautious about my exercise so I don't mess up my ankle. I am allowed to walk (as a workout) for 10 minutes a day - it isn't much, but my ankle really can't handle much more than that at a time. I am also doing a 6" stair which is part of my PT for the ankle. I like the added benefit of actually getting in some exercise while I am doing PT.

Hey lady, where are you? Still doing ok? How's that sunburn? Did you ever get to the dr.? What'd he have to say?

Okay, now that we've played 20 questions I hope you have a fun day!

Hello all - I am here and still kickin. The doctor said that all of my burn blisters got infected. Basically he classified the sun burn as 3 degree YIKES! Anyway, now I am on an antibiotic pill and using a cream.

Thanks for stopping in AQ, I am glad to see you again. I am now, back in the Zone and feeling pretty good. Physical therapy is "costing" me about 200 calories 3 times a week and I am doing many of the same exercises on the off days except for the bike. So I know I am burning at least an extra 1000 or more calories a week now. I know that doesn't sound like much, but it is much better than sitting on my big behind all day.

I am officially back down to ticker weight. Whatever I added in muscle, and fat while off plan and exercising has evened out. I am glad for that.

Thanks for coming by to introduce yourself Maisy. Very nice to meet you. I hope you will find my journal to be an encouragement to you. Sometimes, I go off on a rant, but I always find myself back in the right place. I will have to look up that song. I think I like being thought of as an upbeat song. I try to be positive while on here, but sometimes.....

In other news, I am now President of the "Alicia Dupler Memorial Horse Show Committee". As many of you will remember, Alicia was my dear friend that lost her battle with Breast Cancer on Feb 25, 2008. A group of us have decided to do a horse show in her memory and donate all funds raised to the American Cancer Society in her memory. If anyone knows of anyone who would be interested in sponsoring a "class" at the show, please contact me and I will give you the info. I am also still participating in the Relay for Life in April and looking for people to sponsor me for that as well.

OK - off to read some journals while I have a good connection. I have been AWOL mostly because the site has been slow and driving me CRAZY!

CHY --- I am soo glad to see you back!!! I missed ya.

Thanks for the encouragement regarding my work in Alicia's memory. She was a great gal and a super friend, I didn't deserve her. I will keep her memory alive and strive to help fund a cure so that nobody else will have to suffer the loss of loved one's like her. I miss her very much.

I actually went 12 minutes at 2 mph at physical therapy yesterday on the orders of my physical therapist. We are watching things very closely and doing recovery conservatively to make sure there are no more tears in any tendons again.

I am also spending time in the barn and with the horses again, but not doing any work out there. Just letting the horses be a healing presence for me.

Feeling pretty good today. Actually carried in some firewood, I just wish we didn't need it still UGH! I am getting a little sick of cold and rain, but what can ya do about it...

We got another horse today. Poor thing was in a stall so small he couldn't turn around for over 4 months. The people were afraid of him so they just let him stand there. Thought we would have issues getting him into a trailer, but I gave him a shot to relax him and he didn't do too bad.

Having some emotional junk going on - issues with my dad being an a$$ and a half. Really fighting the urge to binge, but hanging in there.
